When I win, I MSG everyone GG
When I lose, I MSG everyone GG
But I mostly get these in return
* Go kill yourself Scrub
* GG you try hard prick
* Go play Trials Retard
* Suck my Balls
* I hope you get AIDS and Die.
I don't Tebag durring matches because that just like saying F You to someone but people will Tebag me. When I send them a MSG after the match I get about a paragraph of hate and how the world would be better off if I just killed myself.
Am I really the only one who is Nice in game?
Edit: Not being Salty just worried that this game is going to turn into the Overwatch Comunity and become Extremly Toxic
-
GG : git gud? This is usually the reaction of a losing team
-
1 Replyyes, in todays world niceness is being considered as weakness , better stop being nice to people , they don't deserve it
-
1 ReplyJust slay in pvp, dont tbag or send messages. Problem solved
-
I don't teabag or send messages of any kind afterwards. Not because I am nice, but because I just don't care.
-
1 ReplyYou message everyone "GG" ? Even the 0.06? What did you expect?
-
2 RepliesIn pvp I play without mercy, but I'm not a d*ck about it. I don't t-bag or taunt (unless I single handedly wipe out 3-4 enemies at once 😉) and I don't send out messages. I'm looking to have fun and I always assume that everybody else is looking to do the same. It's just that there are alot of people who only find joy in tormenting others online. Hence why I show no mercy. 😎

I like long walks on the beach and hugs after a long day playing in the crucible, said no one ever.

Edited by Atreuss: 11/1/2017 1:18:00 PMI am usually pretty nice even when playing against cry baby douchebags that can't stand to lose in a virtual world. Win or lose makes no difference to me. I just dance at the end of the match or salute. Yes, the immaturity over this game has become very toxic for something that has no impact on the real world. Winning makes things go faster, but it is also not the end of the world if you don't. Sad thing is it makes me wonder how some of these people will ever get along in life when they are so hateful and a bad sport about everything.

Edited by santoidyp0p: 11/1/2017 9:51:20 AMI dislike t-baggers or folk who think its time to dance etc after their team kill you 4v1 or they have lagged their way to a win. and they did nothing to help. I dislike rude people. unfortunately the "anonymous" internet is a breeding ground for rude and horrible behavior. people think they can get away with everything as they cannot be identified. so the base element of thick rude people let this spill into the game. i generally report them if there is hate messages, and/or block them if they are the t-bagger type after messaging them to say to grow up. (i take the view that they are either thick-stupid or immature... in either case education is required) for people who are nice , i regret being so used to hate and rude people that im often unable to be nice back (in time). but i have made efforts to send messages to nice folk saying gg etc perhaps bungie should have a ghost tracker that tracks the number of bad reports someone gets for t-bagging etc and perhaps there should be a CBMM SBMM type matchmaking where Tbag-BMM puts all these up-voted numskulls in games together. :)

It sucks, but unfortunately the only real option with an online community is to just get used to it and block people that are rude to them.
-
It's called being a descent human being and I respect that. People now on are mostly toxic and that's why I can't trust most of them. I am a gentleman myself and treat everyone nicely because who knows? Maybe one day this toxic behavior will change but I say just keep it up and don't let these people get to you. 👍
-
The simple fact you try this hard to be nice makes people hate you. I would too if you msged me that.

This game has no shortage of dick bags, from kids to adults.

6 RepliesYeah, that's the internet these days. Any time someone waves at me during a match I automatically assume they are taunting, even though some of them probably were not. I also automatically assume that everyone with a girly sounding gamer tag is actually a 40 year old fat dude who jacks it every time he gets a message from someone who thinks he's a girl. But that's just me.

Edited by EmmyV: 10/31/2017 8:55:26 PMHonestly I didn't know the other team could even see your chat. So I've not said anything because I thought all conversation was locked to team. EDIT: Further, I've found some really great near deadlocked games that have gone victory or defeat in the last 10 seconds. Seriously there's some excellent games to be had in Crucible.
-
If I go head to head with someone on the other team constantly during the match I'll almost always exchange a GG
-
Only ever got one message and it was just someone telling me I was very strategic, but my team was shit. And only got teabagged twice but they were both for stupid reasons; someone camping with a sword and another killing me with a rocket. I just shrug my shoulders and move on.
-
1 ReplyI don't think I've ever initiated a message. I've gotten some though which is always amusing, since I suck at pvp.

1 ReplyI only replied to one GG in D2. It was a particularly intense match, and largely centered around me and one member from the rival team as we both accounted for the vast majority of kills in the match. Every time we ran into each other, it was a showdown. Every time I was killed, it was *that* guy that killed me. Every time I killed him, it was a triumph. There was no childish teabagging or taunting emotes from either of us. There was a mutual understanding in our competitive clashes with each other. The match ended with a single point difference. It was over. The best match I ever played on D2 was finally done, and I was finally able to take a deep breath and calm down off the adrenaline. In a respectful gesture, he fired off a message simply stating GG. In response, I unleashed a series of extremely harsh expletives and insults and told that noob he got wrecked and needed to "git gud". I also reported him for cheating because f&ck that a$$hole.
Just kidding. I'm not a 9 year old.
Sweaties are a scourge. I just go in to have fun. -blam!- KD.

Did you answer your own question?
-
I don't message after a game. I've never received one either, partially due to parental settings. (I'm 17 not 9 and I'm trying to fix it) I only t-bag if I get t-baged. If I know I am going to die, I mess around if I have the time. Once I was cornered by 3 guys (D1 btw) and I just waved. BOOM! Dead. Another time, I knew we were gonna lose the game, so I just started driving around (on my sparrow) a guy on the Cabal Vehicle (Don't know the name). I had sooooo much fun doing that. I drove around him then run off. He follows. Finds, Repeat. I was waiting for him. Sparrow gets destroyed. I get blasted. They won. I felt joy though.

Edited by Ricochet 049: 10/31/2017 3:01:16 PMI wiggle at my defeated foes to ensnare them in a rage trap. Then I wait at the end of a hallway with my fire team and wait for them to jump in our crosshairs. It’s not being mean, I just use their anger at a silly emote to make crucible easier
-
Nah I'm nice too. Most of the time. I've tried waving and dancing multiple times before and they basically say, "FREE KILL HEHEHE"
-
Yes, you are. Why would anyone be "nice" on the internet?
