I just met someone that thinks Destiny is better than...
... NieR: Automata, Horizon Zero Dawn, Persona 5, Nioh, Rocket League, etc.
I mean, it probably is better than RL. And I can take you saying it's better than a few. But all of those? Ouch, man. 😓

They are all completely different games so they can't really be compared. Horizon and P5 are GOTY contenders hopefully D2 will be as well.

7 RepliesI mean... aren't all the games you listed singleplayer? Meaning replayability is likely to be low? I'm no superfan of Destiny, but at least it has more replayability. Not much, and very boring, but the point still stands.

1 ReplyWell despite what everyone seems to think I myself don't think Destiny is a bad game, actualy there must be a great game in there somewhere but Bungie IMO are mismanageing it. For the $60 I paid for the vannila version I think I got my moneys worth, I did enjoy it enough. And even though I feel the DLC's are too expensive for what they were I still enjoy playing it. The problem is that the game could be much more but Bungie is somehow unable to unlock that potential. I will still get D2 and I am sure that I will enjoy it enough to warrent the price but I also think that it will fall into the same trap as D1.

maybe he means cost/playtime ratio. that is indeed quite high but apart from that i feel like people shouldnt compare games that much

10 RepliesI dont' recall our having met? I loved HZD. But I had no desire to go back and play it once I played through the campaign. None of the other games you mentioned even interested me enough to even try. OTOH, I've happily invested 3000 hours in Destiny.
