5 RepliesThis is said about everything that exists. This is something I don't care about. It won't take away from the thing the fanbase is built off of. However, for Rick and Morty, I feel that the people who don't like the show can't comprehend what is going on. I feel like it can sometimes get quite complicated verbal wise, but also what is currently happening. I love it for that however. I really don't understand the people who feel the need to express their dislike or hate towards something popular at the moment. Do these people just want to feel special or be recognized? It's like they just jump onto the hate-bandwagon just to fit in or be [i]kewl[/i]. It's ridiculous. Love something? Great! Share your love for it with others who have the same, but don't shove it down everyone's throat as if it's the best thing in existence. Same goes for the haters. You don't need to tell everyone that it sucks, is unoriginal or just flat out terrible. Many beg to differ from your point of view, just as you do with theirs. So get off of your high horse, eat shit, go splash about in a puddle of mud and fill your stomach with acid or cut your fingertips to prevent bullshit from being written. Anything but spreading dumb shit in either glory mode or pure hate would do. It's fucking useless and a waste of time.

Yeah, the fans are pretty off-putting. Show doesn't seem that great either though. Watched the first episode or two and it wasn't really all that funny, clever or engaging.

I liked the show. Wasn't as great as everyone makes it out to be, but it entertained me fit the most part.

Almost everything in the world has that one group that won't shut the -blam!- up about their favorite things and do nothing but reference it all day, every day, thus ruining it for people that might have enjoyed it on their own if left to their own devices. Sadly, there are some things that are legitimately good things that get slapped with a "Cringy" label because of said people.
