Thanks for proving to me again that you're an asshole. I really tried to think rationally about you. But the implications from this post are disgusting.

Because we're important - that's why.
Ha, that's funny Max. Tell me one thing those cities produce that the rest of the country couldn't live without. Rural America provides your food, your oil, your gas, hell most of the time we provide your water. Remember Max we could easily survive without you, you could not survive without us.

This is exactly why the electoral college was put into place. So some big areas couldn't decide everything for the many smaller areas. Our founding fathers realized that it shouldn't be all about wealth. Too bad most people today don't.
-
2 RepliesIt's amazing how many people are missing the point you are trying to make.
-
Probably should have gone with population instead of GDP. Gives (what I assume is) the wrong impression doing it this way.
-
16 RepliesSuper weird seeing a liberal value a citizen's vote by the amount of wealth they produce.
-
2 RepliesLuckily the founding fathers knew from the beginning that popular vote was bullshit
-
2 RepliesYou're advocating poor people to have less power? Weird...

Now let's look at a map of where all the food in this nation that'd not imported is produced and think about that.

I'm not saying the populations of big cities are not important, but they are not the only important areas. There is more to this country that just those 19 or so areas of orange. The Constitution of this country gives fair representation to both population and to state, or else all that sea of blue, all those states with no orange in them (mine included, actually), would have no voice when making and passing legislation that they are subject to. They could be fined, taxed, appropriated from, enslaved, etc. with no voice to challenge any of it. But then again, this isn't a map of population split in half. It's a map of GDP split in half. How many other ways could it be split in half? How could other statistics be split in half? Scientific research, farming, military? My state has not one pixel of orange that I can see in there, but it has contributed a lot to science and research and defense and space in the past 70 or so years. All of it is important.

2 RepliesHuh, didn't know that. But before I go, who supplies you with your food, water, oil, and the coal to power those electric cars you libs love so much?
Because we're important - that's why.
Mad Max... yet another unreasonable and illogical post. Big cities, due to their packed populations, are echo chambers of ideologies. More social pressure to conform. Out of touch with the cultures and needs of rest of the nation. Will you stop posting ridiculous political arguments?
No, you won't. You're all about freedom without responsibility. No discipline to hold your words back. You can't help yourself.

Please stop getting triggered, Max.
10 RepliesAnd people wonder why I don't go after the issues with anything Max says. It's because garbage like what is going on in this thread happens so often. Christ, you people are so dense sometimes that it is difficult to even know where to begin.
-
11 RepliesSomething that people miss is that without the electoral college, it's America choosing and not the states. But people have their head so shoved up their asses that they miss a really simple point. 😄

I'll have what Detroit's having - A slow and painful death.

6 RepliesNo more important than anyone else, Maxwell.

7 RepliesEdited by Gladlin: 7/25/2017 4:47:17 PMSo...equality and equal representation only count if you live in a city? How very elitist of you, Max.
