The Atari 2600 which I got when I was 7 YO in 1978. After that I mainly played on my Commodore Vic 20 and later C64 and the Atari 800XL. Got my Nes and Mastersytem when I was 16 I think, second hand ofcourse I did not have that much money at that time. Around my 18th I got both an Amiga 500 and an Atari ST. Around 20 I started building my own PC and have been a mainly PC gamer till I was 29 when I got a son and started playing mainly on consoles again. I am now 45 YO, own a hefty gaming PC and all relevant consoles except the Switch.

Space Invaders down the local chippy did it for me. I grew up in a small welsh market town, in the 70s and 80s. We only had four channels on our TVs. I had never even heard of a computer, let alone seen one. I still remember walking to the chippie with my mother, and there was a crowd of people standing around some form of cabinet in the corner of the shop. They were putting money in a float, and taking tines to do something with a joystick and buttons, whilst looking at something on the screen. That cabinet, was an arcade machine, they were playing 'Space Invaders', and it was 1980.

Sega Genesis for me. The game I started with, Streets of Rage 2. Still a great game by today's Indie standards.

Even though I'm sixteen, I still feel old. It's been what, nearly 10 years since Super Mario Galaxy was released on the Wii? First game I played. Still love it; miss those damn days.
-
God it feels like years since i've decided to play Sonic Mega Collection on the gamecube... so many good memories.

Sega Master System for me. I played Atari and Colecovision at my cousins' house, but the Master System was the first one i had when at home when i was like 8 years old. Alex Kidd in Miracle World! That game was hard AF for an 8 year old!

Nintendo 64 was my starting point. Played Kirby's Collector's Ultimate Dream Collection (or whatever it's called) the other day, and played some Kirby 64. That green N that popped up on thr screen was very nostalgic.
