My list of thing that destiny 2 will need to do so i can jump back in:
60FPS
Dedicated Servers
OPTIONAL Matchmaking for every activity
60FPS
PS4 Pro/Scorpio Support
Dedicated servers
Balance by buffs, not nerfs
60FPS
last but not least Dedicated servers.

A story

Yup optional matchmaking would be great.

I can't tell a difference between 30 and 60 fps. The only thing that changes is I get a headache sooner with the 60 fps
-
Seriously? 60 fps is miles more fluent than 30 fps. It's quite an obvious change, just try playing Doom for a while. When you go back to Destiny it feels slow, old and broken.

Edited by Abrrinacave: 3/26/2017 12:26:06 AMAs I said in another reply, I can't tell going from 30 to 60, but if I play at 60 for a while, I can kinda tell when I go back to 30
-
If you can't tell the difference between 30 and 60 you have terrible eyes because it's a night and day difference.
-
Going from 30 to 60 I can't tell the difference, but if I play at 60 for a while I can slightly notice going back to 30.
-
You forgot to request dedicated servers.
-
Why not throw in 4K, HDR and Atmos
-
Atmos?
-
As in Dolby Atmos
-
To be honest, never heard of it
60FPS.
Not possible with current gen., either you get nice visuals and 30fps or ok visuals and 60fps, especially with Destiny where you go trough quite big territories! The way you want it could only work with maybe the crucible, but def. not with PvE content.
Dedicated Servers.
There already are, and frankly from the 1500hrs I spent playing this game, most of the time it was absolutely fine.
OPTIONAL Matchmaking for every activity.
Agreed
PS4 Pro/Scorpio Support.
Must have
Balance by buffs, not nerfs.
I'd say a mix of the two, sometimes a nerf is required (like Thorn)

This game is ran on peer to peer connection. There are no dedicated servers.
-
-
How about a legitimate story, like Witcher III- or Uncharted 4-level story?
-
Canada. US East. US West. Europe. Asia. Australia. Purchasing/building places. Purchase a crap ton of servers around the world. Hire people to manage those servers. Millions of dollars.
-
Not an issue for a billion dollar franchise
-
You don't know how business works, do you? It's a huge -blam!-ing issue. Servers. Getting internet connections set up. Back up internet connections. Power and backup power and backup of the backup. Hiring staff. Getting payrolls for the staff. Paying for construction is a possibility(but they may find buildings they can use). Millions upon millions upon millions of dollars. No company does that. No business does that. Yes, games do get dedicated servers, but unless it's DICE that hosts it in house, then smaller companies or indie devs only get a few dedicated servers. Even then, that's around $400,000 dollars. It would be nice to have dedicated servers, but it's unrealistic on a worldwide scale which is what people want.
-
Seriously? You are comparing the budget of a few Indie devs to the budget of a billion dollar corporation. And you have the audacity to tell me I know nothing about business?
-
Don't forget 60fps. Also, putting the main focus on PvE as opposed to PvP
-
U forgot dedicated servers
thats the only thing that would get me to buy d2
-
I would love 60fps and dedicated servers. I am personally on the side of no matchmaking in raids, nightfall, PoE. However, optional matchmaking sounds like a good middle ground.
-
You can't balance by buffing everything. You'd end up with ridiculously low ttk.
