I've used shotty since year 1 it is way diff now wen everyone camps and can actually use their spec since they don't move and are forcing everyone into choke points than moving around the map and team shooting. No duhh don't run into a room full of guys but u can't get close enough to shotty since everyone is so scared to die now w their spec... So everyone runs or camps now

I was not experiencing this at all. Nor did I see this in any stream footage I watched. Don't know what to say?...maybe just some bad luck you experienced with matchmaking?... If anything Im experiencing more rushing than ever because people feel emboldened with their primaries, so I'd have to disagree.

I said people act like they HAVE to use sidearms. The fact of the matter is that people are using sidearms because they BELIEVE it's the best option due to the update. The REALITY is that is not really the case. It is natural that the first week of the patch people will be experimenting with new weapons and a majority of players have, at least temporarily, hung up their shotty's to try out other weapons in this new environment. Just because you only got killed by a shotty once in four hours the day of the new patch does not mean there's imbalance. It would be expected. After a few weeks you're going to see the usual suspects (matador, Vigil, Longbow) back in the mix more often because the "test period" will be over and the dominant weapons/perks will be identified. So there will be a shift, and there will be more diversity, but it is not the end of shotguns. I was using a shotty just fine just a couple hours ago.

How could u possibly rush more than b4? I think I'll call bs on that one. Not saying ur a fan boy but ur comments are seeming to be pretty far fetched

Every primary is more accurate in the air now, due to special ammo changes less people have a defensive weapon like shotgun equipped, which means you can rush with a HC or AR and dominate more often than before. Go watch someone like Luminosity or Kraftyy play. People aren't camping, they're pre-nading and primary rushing like crazy inn 6v6 game types at least. It could very well be different in 3v3 types like ToO. I've already stated that.

Krafty don't shotty so of course he's happy n lumi was having trouble killing ppl w shotty wen I was watching he usually finished ppl off w wambos the rest of the time he's just running around w the drone 3 tapping. So ya ppl were so tired of being aped wen really they just sucked w primary it ain't the shottys fault ppl can't stop someone from getting in shotty range

Edited by GamerCone: 2/15/2017 5:38:59 PMI totally agree with you there. It's not the shotty's fault if a player lets me get within 5 yards of them without killing me, and then I blast them. They needed to reposition or hit their shots or something. My only point was that people are definitely still rushing, but they're rushing with grenades and primaries as opposed to shotty's. I do believe you'll see a number of people return to shotguns after a couple weeks when they decide they'd still prefer to pick up ammo and use a matador as opposed to challenging close range with a teacup tempest. 😅

All I'm saying is why use shotty u can sit back w icebreaker no land fushions or sidearm and never risk ur life or ammo pushing like u have to w shotty
