Yea when I saw shield brothers with solar burn and juggler I said nope, fuk that. Who else thought that?
-
Thought the same, but after raiding I wanted to do something "easy". A buddy said let's do the Nightfall and I said *blam* that. After some convincing we loaded in and completed it with no wiping. Normally that modified setup would kick our asses, but last night it was no problem. Maybe it was due to the amount of raiding we just did so our awareness and communication was top notch. Or we just got lucky. Naw, can't be luck we all got 3 of coins as our reward.

3 RepliesAll that and grounded so you can't even jump out of the way of the massive solar slams?!!? No thanks, I'll get my outbreak next week. I like fun challenging, not cheap challenging.
-
1 ReplyIt was a lot easier than I thought it would be. As long as you clear the last round of ads quickly, it's cake.
-
It was even worse when I finished and only got a pair of 378 legendary boots....😢😢😢😢
-
Yeah, I am right there with you no nightfall for me this week. I don't need the coins or ghost shell that badly
-
3 celestial nighthawks with sleeper disagree but its still hard af.
-
I was hoping for good old Rockets Mcdickfire, been so long since he's been a nightfall.
-
Got to the boss room, didn't get to the blue dude once...
-
5 RepliesAll you have to do is sit in the corner & you're untouchable by the bosses lol Surprised that hasn't been fixed yet
-
1 ReplyEdited by Delta Vee: 10/19/2016 2:38:59 PMShield brothers... Solar burn... Melting point... Suncharge glitch... Gjallarhorn... Quantiplasm?... Rest in pieces. Gonna attempt a solo when I get home.
-
4 RepliesRan the nightfall and the leader went to orbit as soon as the second brother died, I got credit for beating the nightfall but no reward... anyone have this happen, anything I can do?
-
I never look what is, just which burn...
-
7 RepliesIm gonna put "must have completed nightfall this week" on my raid requirements lol
-
Ghorn ads and at last phase get both bosses down to a centimeter of life and as soon one dies, shoot a rocket at the other ao you don't have to deal with that last Wave of ads
-
I won't do shield brothers unless I'm with some crazy pve players who can stick to a plan.
-
2 manned it with no probs
-
Theres a secret spot to it gaurdians. Bosses are easy. Its all the adds that are the problem. 1 person has to be dedicated to adds. Use ghorn on em. 1 shot as they come out the door.
-
Ran it with all 3 characters. Rockets to the adds by all players is the key to surviving. Once the adds are down it's pretty straightforward. Hug the left wall, you can complete the entire encounter from the same spot provided you take the adds down fast enough.
-
Ive done it twice. Me and a buddy 2 manned it at 380 light. EZ
-
Yea, I only had two people, so I used the cheese pretty hard
-
It was so hard...

Edited by Crimson Dynamo: 10/19/2016 1:49:05 PMI did it with a Sunsinger, Shadowshot, and Ward of Dawn and it was absolute hell. The ADs will kill you instantly if you don't Gjally bejesus out of them. Did it on my hunter, got strange coins and a 384 primary ... not too shabby, but sure not going to do it on my other characters
-
2 RepliesEquip Gjallarhorn, open heavy crate, wipe to respawn heavy crate, melt bosses, use rockets on adds, pop second heavy crate if needed. A team of 3 with 2 heavy ammo perks can use 42 shots of Gjallarhorn here without using a synth.

Edited by juharr: 10/19/2016 1:39:54 PMMe and my friends thought that after the 15th try at beating them.
-
Ran it 4 times yesterday. Friends kept logging in one after another. It's only difficult if you go in guns blazing. Play it smart and you'll survive....
barely.
It's the most I've ever died in s nightfall. Got it done though. It's hard.
