Stop asking for nerfs....
I was looking on the forums yesterday for about 45 minutes and I stumbled across 5 posts that were crying out for nerfs and some people in the comments were agreeing with them, what you guys need to understand is that the only reason why pulse rifles seem so good is because 90% of the other guns are complete shit unless you get a god roll on them.
The state of pvp now compared to year 1 is absolutely horrendous, the time to kill now with most of the guns is unbearable, year 1 was very fast paced and rewarded skilled players with quick reaction times, sure you might not have liked getting 2 tapped by a thorn and I agree, it was kind of broken but please.....stop asking for bungie to ruin this game more than it already has been.
Instead of coming on here begging for nerfs because you're getting outgunned, it's the other guns that need buffs, nefring certain archetypes will only make the kill time longer therefore there will be less of a skill gap.
For example, the Grasp Of Malok archetype 3 bursts and it's got an insane fire rate, the Hopscotch Pilgrim also takes 3 bursts to kill someone but it's fire rate is very very very.....slow.
Don't even get me started on shotguns, people are moaning about how ''Broken'' they are but I use a shotgun 99% of the time and over the last few months I've been noticing that I've been getting a ton of ghost bullets when I'm literally stood up someones arse.
PS: This isn't a rant, I just don't want this game's pvp to get ruined even more than it already is, pvp in year 1 was fun and took skill, let's just hope they bring that back if they want to go competitive.
Edit #1: This is a post about weapon balancing and I do agree, there's things that need changing with sub classes, but that's for a different day.

30 RepliesWhich boards are you reading?! Nobody is asking for nerfs. Seriously, looking at the trending posts it's nothing but people crying for buffs, or whining about nerfs. That's all they do. That's all they ever do. And that's why you'll never be listened to: Bungie already know what you'll say. No matter what they do, you'll cry for buffs ans whine about nerfs. Knowing that, they have no reason to communicate with you. So please, stop cherrypicking posts to make it look like people are crying for nerfs (Let me guess, by any chance had all these posts you found been downvoted into oblivion?). Instead, think about actual balance - which is a combination of nerfs and buffs- and maybe start making informed, reasoned comments along those lines? You've basically killed off the Feedback boards by flooding them with this garbage crying for buffs or whining for nerfs. How about we presume Bungie have got the message now, and move on to some actually constructive feedback?

2 RepliesThe damage is done. The nerf train isn't slowing down. Not long before shotguns get nerfed again. I think those that want buffs have given up and moved on. Probably why you don't see anyone asking for primary buffs anymore. They got the "just deal with it response"

1 ReplyBack before all these nerfs I really like this game it was fun, enjoyable and besides some actual gun that needed a nerf at the time everything else was able to be counter with a bit of knowledge. Now that not much of the cast. Now the game is frustrating with slow time to kill crappy shotguns with bad range and damage on some of them. It to the point if I really want this game on my hard drive.

1 ReplyCouldn't agree more! For a start the guns shouldn't be released in to the game for things to be changed at the drop of a hat coz people start crying they die to much. What needs to be done is they need to buff other guns to bring them into alignment with the others. No one hears the small guys just the wingers

7 RepliesThe main issue is that nerfs and buffs require finesse and Bungie tends to use a machete instead of a scalpel. I don't mind people asking for a nerf or buff if it's a valid thing, the game, like any PVP game needs balancing, but this heavy handed way of doing it or doing it ineptly just makes things bad in a new way.

Honestly I'm pretty content with the state of the game I can reliably use pretty much any weapon class I want at the moment and get some decent results(besides HC but we know why that is and bungie should be ashamed of what they did to them) and I agree no more nerfs. I agree, no more nerds This game has had enough for like five games and honestly I don't see why you need to fix something that's not broken. Adapt and move on or don't play pvp. Quit ruining it for everyone.

1 ReplyIt needs a nerf, like seriously, go against a hunter with skip grenades and Shinobou sometime. They nerfed the Warlock out of existance, and made shield-titan unplayable. Yet the hunters never, never get nerfed. Year one was fun because it was balanced, we didn't have useless supers, or guns that two - one shot. (Two head one body). It took skill because snipers weren't quick-scoping (another bullshit mechanic in games, seriously, never should have been implemented). You also didn't have camp heavy maps. But no, they changed that during year two. So now we have to deal with shitty PvP.
