Iron Banner = Let the laggers Win?
Again IB is here and again players in a...... wait for it..... CBMM game.... have to put up with those 2-3 players on the opposing team who are racking up kills cuz u just cant kill them. How is this freakin possible. Why are the people who pay a hefty price for quality internet getting shat on for those who dont. Its a -blam!-ing joke. Connection based my ass.

Exactly right. Playing with a fireteam of 5 or 6 i noticed it was absolutely fine, connection wise. Other two days I've played solo, terrible and like you said, at least 1 or more red bars and players that either move super fast (abnormally fast) in running, melee and take less damage, or glitchy players that simply appear and disappear. The worst part is that they don't address it, Bungie that is. Running on 110 down and 8 up internet, it's not my connection to Destiny. And most of the time in normal crucible things are better than IB, so something specifically is wrong with Iron Banner.

You should get to lvl five in ib if there is more than 4 red bars in a game. The lag is just so stupid in some games that i cant even get mad about it.

2 RepliesSeems to be the case. It's been an horrific experience for me so far. I was going to get Rank 5 on all 3 characters but I think I'll just stick to my Titan now because it's just so painful to play.

An opponent will run and hide behind a rock or box or corner that you can clearly see if they leave that spot and they have not been killed. But when you get to where they hid they have vanished and then reappear on the opposite side of the map. Is anyone else having this happen in their matches?

5 RepliesI had a guy that would magically go Red Bar every time he used a sniper. The Red Sniper dot wouldn't appear until after he killed me. Sometimes he'd be facing the opposite direction and still snipe me.

3 RepliesI suck bad enough...I don't need any help from laggers. I particularly enjoy when some lagger glitches all over the screen, takes no damage, kills me and then promptly tea bags me. That makes Iron Banner especially enjoyable.

I usually report them more than once throughout the game. After the match is over, I leave the fireteam wait a minute and search for another game. It tends to work for me.

Bump, always on top of leader board and usually the difference maker in outcome. If you red bar that much, you should lag out. Simple. They shouldnt be able to play.

3 RepliesI've played against magicians. As soon as they start losing, their connection becomes red bar and when they get the lead, it magically turns green.

Did Bungie implement the new CBMM settings in IB as well or was it just in regular control? I've played both within the last week and though it may have just been coincidence, I could tell a noticeable difference. Standard control was bearable, IB has been unplayable.

Another Iron Banner, and another Bungie Lag Fest. I'm tired of emptying clips into laggers and not even taking their shields down. This is on Bungie, and no one else! All those stupid error codes they have, and every time I check my connection it's fine. Bungie needs to stop counting their money, and invest in a good server!!!
