Favorite time in Destiny?
What has been everybody's favorite time in Destiny?
Personally, I enjoyed House of Wolves the most. It made the raids and loot from Vanilla and the Dark Below both relevant, and also added Prison of Elders to mess around with. Achieving max light was a much simpler process through Etheric Light. Rerolling weapons was a great way to try out perk combinations. Trials of Osiris was added for the competitive PvP folks. The list goes on...

Vanilla of course. There's nothing more exciting than playing a game for the first time and taking it all in.

2 RepliesDefinitely miss the Vanilla days. Hoping for the same amazing times when Destiny 2 comes out next year (supposedly). However, the other expansions have been great as well.

I think the transition from Dark Below to HoW was the most fun for me.

The dark below and HoW ( wasn't there for vanilla ) I liked the blades of Cropta that ran after me when I was low level lol And HoW was when I did all my raids

Vanilla for the mystique and newness. And especially for the Vault of Glass which was so well designed

1 ReplyI threw my vote on vanilla and here's why... The loot system was a bit less vast and made it more challenging to hit that lvl 30 light... Especially since you still needed all raid gear or an exotic slotted... Problem was xur was a jerk with exotic helmets so you HAD to play VoG on hard... Not only for that but there was actual hype on certain guns like the Vex Mythoclast and Gally that just made grinding so much easier to bare because "this chest might be it!" Or "this weeks nightfalls got my name on it!" I still remember how excited I was getting those and the ice breaker... Also the feeling of first entering the VoG and the atmosphere they managed to bring to it I actually got goosebumps as you fell deeper and deeper because it actually felt like a one way trip... I've had a blast with the game since so I'm not saying the other expansions weren't good... I just have my moments I look back on and most of them were vanilla days
