How bout in game LFG?

Yip. I don't need it,but don't see why they won't add it.

Edited by Ken_Malibu: 3/30/2016 10:47:36 AMPeople will just cry at how 'impossible' the king's fall raid is if the current match making system is used. The social areas were kind of supposed to be where people grouped up into raid teams but a lot of guardians are unsocial no mic strangers. An lfg type bulletin board system should really be implemented in to Destiny 2 but for me lfg sites work perfectly well. A lot of people are put off because people post silly requirements but just post your own looking for lower levels and before long you'll be asking for 315+ on your posts. Before anyone can really comment they should have done the raid and performed some of the more responsible roles. Then you'll see why it's not a good idea.

Yes. Please read and comment on this idea about matchmaking... https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/197750445/0/0
-
No. Too many problems would be created.
-
No, im very bad at this game yet still find people good enough to get up to oryx. Never finished with an lfg group though, only my friends
-
Its the same as goin on hear and finding players who also quit or have to go make it optional
-
2 RepliesNothing wrong with having the choice. Matchmaking should be in everything. As long as you could turn it off
-
No marching for raids is a bad idea. Bungie is only protecting this who ask for it. You are far better if finding a team from the recruitment page of any lfg. It will save you headaches and keep afk'rs and trolls off your team.
-
Been saying this since day one. Give the players the choice, make it an option. If people have a solid team to run with then great, they don't need it, if they don't have many Destiny friends or are new to the game, then they have matchmaking to fall back on.

Edited by Unicronic: 3/30/2016 12:02:34 AMOptional matchmaking yes. If it's mandatory it will replace players kicked by Destiny's awesome networking with Johnny Random.
-
100x yes, so long as it remains optional (instead of forcing a matchmake onto groups). Also open up the "event plaza" (which has only ever been used for IB and Queen's Wrath) and make it an in-game LFG area with various options - area voice chat channels for raid/pvp/poe lfg - and search parameters - class, light level, hell even grimoire score if they want.
-
I was on ps3 user that big time yes for matchmaking on Raid. But I tranfser ps4 and I don't need matchmaking. I thank PSN make community that I can find players easy for join in raid, trials, and make new friends.
-
Yes. Optional on normal modes so people have a better chance to learn mechanics for next level runs.
-
Edited by Penkuwin: 3/29/2016 11:33:24 PMno, plain and simple, no
-
Bungie: you spoke guardians and we listened...except when it comes to matchmaking. That is where the conversation stops dead.
-
This will never happen until a more capable developer picks up destiny, which will probably happen.
-
It should be an option for everything. If you don't want or need it, go on with the way you've always done it. I'll leave the rest of this for the people that can't figure out what optional means. op·tion·al ˈäpSH(ə)n(ə)l/ adjective available to be chosen but not obligatory. duh. so weird that they havent
-
Why not? As long as it's optional. You can have an option to have a crap fest and never complete the raid. I am all for pissing people off.....
-
As long as its optional. Then if you have friends on... great. If you want to set standards for randoms... go to lfg. If you're willing to roll the the dice... matchmaking. Im sure there would be bad experiences with it, but also would think that anyone who uses matchmaking should understand what comes with the territory. The Division challenge mode matchmaking has worked great for me (as of now) but you cant compare the two. The Division missions are pretty straightforward for randoms to pick up together (again, as of now)... its not teleporting players away to shoot oracles with a relic holder ensuring noone goes blind while others hold open the portal lol :) We shall see what incursions have in store!

Edited by Guardian2977: 3/26/2016 3:30:33 PMYes. Even if you go to lfg, there is no guarantee the lfg host party won't be rude, spiteful. You read so often of people being kicked from lfg because of inconsequential things like emblem or emotes or something else. The mere fact you have to leave the game to go find people to play the game shows how fundamentally flawed a "shared co-op open world" game this is. Open up the upper level in the tower where Iron Banner is and have that as a place players can organize raid parties. So many other games incorporate this and do it successfully. Final Fantasy, WoW, Diablo.

Yepyep..full agreed.

3 RepliesEdited by JOKERMAN: 3/26/2016 4:06:22 AMAllllll these salty desticles who have been trained like good hamsters to say no to this question. Good on you cause bungie doesnt want to empliment this option cause that costs time and money and bungie isnt down with that useless stuff. Good guardians! Now stay on task guardians!
