Ready to give up on The Chaperone
So I'm trying to complete step one of Jolly Holliday quest, and every time I get past 9% a blink shot gunner comes outta nowhere and brings me back down to zero, Is anyone willing to help, should I even try and complete the quest?
EDIT: Over 50 replies, the community is so helpful!
EDIT 2: Thanks everyone for the help but supers and heavy kills don't count for me, got a quad kill with rocket launcher while the equipped and quest didn't move a percent...

I just equipped tlw when my team was about to win and had a super ready to take out a few people right befor we won. Once I focused on that, it went fast. If I felt I was doing well I'd equip it for heavy and supers throughout

If I can do the PvP part, anyone can do it. 1. Never start a round with TLW equipped 2. Only equip TLW after you've gotten heavy ammo, use an LMG and stay out of the action until the rockets stop flying 3. Try and have 4 kills and your super by the time heavy comes, kill streaks grant a ton of points 4. Unequip TLW once you either die or run out of heavy 5. Do everything that annoys the shit out of you such as camping, kill stealing, running from a fight if you're losing etc 6. Make sure to equip TLW when your team is about to win, do not have it equipped for a loss and DO NOT die right before the game ends 7. Take your time and only equip TLW during matches that you're doing well and think you can get a killstreak going A single 10 kill streak will give you a ton of points so just remember that medals and kill streaks are the most important thing. That's fine. It's not meant to be obtainable for everyone. Truth be told, it's not the easiest weapon to use effectively. If you're struggling to unlock it, you probably aren't going to put it to much use anyway.

Try classic, it's full of noobs. That's how I did it, try rumble and wait until you get heavy, use a good lmg

1 ReplyAnother thing you can do is, if you know your team is about to win equip the last word at the end of the match, but not during. Each win gives you 4-5%. It'll take a while, but with that way you don't have to fight the uphill battle of losing percentage constantly.

I did it using TLW, Vestian Dynasty, and BTRD. Took a couple hours one afternoon doing pvp. What mainly did it is I went on a 10 kill streak on Cauldron. I finally managed to get sone heavy that match =\ bunch of peeps trying yo get exotic swords were being stingy. Aim down sights with TLW and play to HC range.

A friend of mine managed to get a 19 kill streak with his heavy, equipped TLW got a kill, and was pretty much done.

I waste my entire afternoon today After a couple of matches and some killstreaks it was at 44% In that moment I start playing really, really, REALLY badly.. Results? 18% and a ragequit with a lot of insults

only equip TLW when its heavy or your super is up... use you super for kills and take off TLW you only need kills with it equipped NOT with it
