Will you come to this topic with your head high or low. Will you shine or burn out. Will you wear your true colors or hide behind the fake mask. The choice is yours
Edit: so far I'm proud of the guardians that have come forth keep on shining
Edit 2: I like to keep my skills up to a average level in both pvp and pve. I love to meet people and have fun with them. I also enjoy a good fight
Edit 3: I have no words for the joy that you guardians have gave me. I wish all you the best in the near future to become the best you can be.

I'm a bit of an asshole. I know my stuff in PvE, always help my friends, suck at crucible. That's me in a nutshell, lol.

Edited by Swervostan: 10/18/2015 3:41:26 PMLook at my hunter's last three IB games. When I'm in the zone, I'm a badass...but when I'm Not...

PvP I've been improving a lot lately PvE… Yeah on a scale of 1 to 10 I'm 6 or 7
-
PvE: ahole to my friends. PvP: ahole to my friends.

I like to think I do well in PvP, I know I can make good plays, but honestly I've always been an average player simply because I can never be consistent with my games. I have good games, and then I have bad games, I fluctuate too much. As for PvE, I know what to do and when to do it for practically every activity. I can come in clutch when needed, and I love helping people who are new to an activity or need help with it. But I play too aggressively. I get greedy during Nightfalls and raids, so I push too far and die. I've been trying to work on that for a long time, but it's a slow progression.

PvE: I am a seasoned veteran. I've been playing since Beta. I've pretty much collected everything and done everything there is to do. I enjoy that grind so it comes easy to me. As far as end game content I've done it all plenty of times and once you know it you know it, it just becomes clockwork. PvP: The multiplayer in this game is strange to me and the title I would give myself is an anomaly. Like I've said I've been here since the beginning so I've seen the meta change multiple times, I really like where it's at right now. As for my skill level I am like so hot and cold. Like the other day I was getting like 3.0 kds and just killing it, the one game I dropped 42 kills with like a 4.25 kd but yesterday I felt like I couldn't get a kill. I think my play style fluctuates too much to have that good kd. For example I usually just run around like an idiot and I'll usually go like 20-18 or something, that's an honest usual game for me. When I slow down and take my time and pay attention to the choke points I usually am over a 2.0 kd with at least 15 kills. I just honestly don't care too play like that k/d doesn't matter to me. I've been flawless 30+ times between my characters. So I guess when it's time to step it up I do but until then f it just have fun.

Edited by TheDungslinger: 10/18/2015 1:27:29 PMPvE: I guess I'm alright. I'm no raid leader or anything, but I guess I'm not bad. PvP: same as PvE. I'm alright, but nothing special. (My recent games I was getting sword kills so you can shut up lol) I guess I'm not too bad of a sniper. All that sniping on Bastion (I think?) for the Thorn bounty got me a little better. For me I have my good games and my bad.
-
PvP not so good but I really want to learn to snipe Pve I don't take seriously and just jump around 360 no scoping dregs.

In pvp daily better than most but no where near the best I have some horrid games sometimes that I just don't want to talk about... I get pissy about shotguns cause I use a sniper and use whatever primary I feel like wether it be op or not and not because it's op but because I like the weapon... In pve I'm pretty bad... On paper I can set everything out plan it for boss fights and explain in detail to my fire team what to do... But In practice I'm usually the one saying sorry cause I screwed up and then eventually leave cause I'm dragging the team down... Since ttk has come out that has changed a bit because the kings fall raid requires teamwork and that's what I'm good at is team play and keeping everyone calm... So yeah looks like I'm sticking with pvp lol

Kind of a deep yet difficult question to answer In general I am a lone wolf who likes going out into the world solo and finding my "thing of the day". This is generally just wandering out in the wilds hunting and killing mobs, exploring zones, completing patrol missions and working on my grimoire score. Other times I relentlessly run strikes to get engrams and learn to be a better player, do dailys or regular story to advance my character, work on a questline, dance around the tower, pretty much whatever grabs my fancy. When I play with others in: PvE - I am an easygoing guy who tries to have fun and find an adrenaline rush rather than be all pro. I don't mess around when I am with a serious group but I always try to keep it relaxed and add a few laughs to the party chat and gameplay. I dance with goblins and bow to captains and try some crazy things just to see if I can get the satisfaction of having it work. PvP - I really dislike PvP because it gets me all riled up sometimes and I get frustrated when I have a bad day. I tend to be rather loud on the mics and am often prone to blaming the game rather than my own skill when I play too long. However when I am in a good mood or have had a good day I am good company and an ok partner to have while facing enemy guardians. My skills are nothing to brag about and I like changing it up from time to time either with perk or weapon setups Overall I am just your average gamer who enjoys a good laugh and a fun game.

5 RepliesEdited by Amazinite: 10/18/2015 12:53:45 PMPvP: The meta player. Always using the most OP guns (and subclasses) if I'm not screwing around with friends. Usually top of the leaderboards... But never gets any loot. Usually the main slayer in objective game modes. I'll get 25+ kills in rift matches but never even get near the rift. PvE: That guy everyone calls to when they need help. "Join me for nightfall? Join me for Kings Fall? Halp! We need a sword bearer!" But don't expect me to join all the time because I don't want to do that stupid sword exotic quest strike for the 7 dozenth time this week. Can get kind of pissy if you keep messing up on the same stuff and if you're the reason we wipe but for the most part I'm chill and love to help out newer players do the raids.

I'm pretty good in PvE when it come ms to staying alive and killing stuff. PvP I'm not good, though if I played more I think I'd be passable

Edited by Aforemore: 10/18/2015 12:50:13 PMWhen playing serious: Use whatever weapon I have that is OP. Trash talk terrible teammates. When not playing serious: Use whatever weapon sucks for satisfaction kills while also bitching and moaning about the "hoeass scrubs" using OP weapons. Edit: PVE: Run in all kamikaze and die first.

1 ReplyI'm Major, and I'm a Destiny addict.
-In unison- "Hi, Major"
-
1 ReplyIn PvP, I'm the kind of player who provides an icy cold backhand to the warm naked face of a player while staring at them right in the eyes with both parties understanding, this was just a matter of time.

Beyond bad at PVP!! Terrible in raids!!
never been in one!!
Great at mindlessly farming strikes, bounties etc.
-
Average in crucible. Above average in competitive playlists (Trials etc) excellent in PvE Activities. But assuming the only measure of a destiny player is his/her PvP stats overall... I'm an average player.
-
Pvp- probably average or slightly above. Don't really use team tactics since I'm usually lone wolfing it :/ could be better. Pve- I like to think im pretty good, done all the raids and skolas. Pretty much soloed NF for all of year one. My play switches up often just to test myself. I love PVE
-
I'm a filthy casual with little to no skill.
-
PvP: very average gun skills, but make up for it with smarts and tactics. Play on the outsides of maps, rarely getting mixed up in the middle with multiple targets. Average-Slightly above average. PvE: safe player that uses primary(scout) for ADDs from distance. Uses special and heavy strictly for majors or ultras. Team player, being a hunter I always end with the most revives.(and now orbs generated, thank you shadowshot) Above average.
-
Filthy casual. No pvp no riding. Love this game and do my best not to be an asshole in strikes.

Im terrible at pvp. REALLY BAD. I'm the guy no one wants on their team. Everyone once in a while when the stars align and the road to asgard is open I'll come in first in my team, but those are few and VERY far between. As for pve. Im the guy who helps everyone out and carries some of them.
