Why are YOU upset Gjally is being sold?
As far as I've read, it seems the community is not all to thrilled with Gjally being sold. This, of course, could simply be the loud minority and most of you are actually thrilled the elusive launcher is being sold. I personally am elated- due to a trip away from home, I may miss the chance to purchase the launcher. I'm still thrilled. No longer will raids and other endgame content be locked to my friends. Don't get me wrong- I understand that Gjally is basically a luxury car or a giant trophy to hang on the wall- a symbol of wealth and of completion, and that has been effectively stripped from it.

[spoiler]Edit 2: On a completely separate note, thinking about trying my luck for ruin wings, Nothing Manacles, or Don't Touch Me. Is the risk worth the motes, or should I save them for TTK?[/spoiler]

I just think xurs prices are universally low. 30 per weapon would still let players get every weapon per week, if they did all content. 15 or 20 for armor. I also think the issue with xur is he makes exotics un-exotic. Everyone gets the weapon every week of they play at all. So I like that Engram idea.

I don't feel special anymore, and now everything is too easy, but I don't care it'll get nerfed soon and I feel like everyone should get a chance to have some fun. Enjoy Gjallarhorning!

I was happy he sold it. I've been playing destiny since day one and got to 34 without it. What made me mad is that I ranked it up and did Crota Friday. I got a gjallahorn from it, so now I have two. Not funny Bungie.

This game needed this very badly there was to much of a following for ghorn or bust lobbies btw i had one before yesterday, bought 2 more, and got one from trials last nightxD

I'm happy for the most part, slightly jealous that my friend who has had destiny for like a week has it. I'm glad he got one but he's never going to experience trying to aim with dragons breath or something like that :)

I'm glad it's being sold. RNGESUS can be a very cruel man. I have played since day one and haven't got one ever. I know some people who just started when HoW came out and they got it first try. RNG isn't earning the weapon. It's earning the chance to get SOMETHING. But rarely what you know you want. So sorry to anyone who's salty bout this, but many players have earned this, so be happy for them

5 thunderlords, 8 plan c's, 4 hard lights, the same freaking helmets, cheat piece, gauntlets out of every exotic energram (never the one you need) = thrilled as -blam!- :-) Now all my friends have it we can each have a go at different tasks within the fire team. I am No longer stuck with being sword bearer because I don't have the gally= good for me and good for them.

I'm thrilled it's being sold. I had mine drop from a nightfall about a month ago and have enjoyed using it when the situation calls for it. But I'm thrilled xur is selling it to make all the elitist "earners" cry. When RNG is how you obtain guns, earning isn't even a thing.

So people who don't have much luck with loot drops can actually have it, it's only fair you cant say that if they bought it they are craps because some might of been playing since vanilla and never found it through thousands of hours of grinding

I'm excited, every will how boring it make pve. Yea it's handy as hell for skolas and prison fights. But outside of that it is way to much I have stopped using mine unless I'm grinding juju bounty(finish strikes fast). Spoiler one- yes ruin wings and nothing manacles are great. Don't touch are cool but niche, help you solo the abyss in crotas end and help back out of a situation when pinched by ai bad guys but that's it and only if you take a melee hit.

1 ReplyI really wish I could have gotten it from rng. There's no better feeling than not knowing what your going to get as a reward and getting what you want. But going into the third dlc I'm glad I was able to get it period! The pressure is off so to speak.

I didn't have enough coins to buy it because I got the SUROS thinking it would be a worthwhile investment for the Auto Rifle buff but Nooooooooooooo!
