Did people really hate Dinklage as ghost?
I personally don't think he was that bad, he just sounded like himself? I think changing the entire dialogue with the new guy is a bit much?

Not really but some of the dialogue was poor delivered despite bungie's alteration

There is alot of comments saying the voice acting was too bland and unexciting. Its a flying robot. I think he did a great job of it.

I don't watch any of the stuff he is in nor really care for him. I mean he wasn't even used in the 2 DLC so it could have been him also not wanting to reprise the role. I don't even want a dude as my ghost personally lol.

Loved him. It was bizarre and weirdly written and performed but very cool, iconic and fun. Now we are getting "Mr. Generic Videogame" voice as the whole franchise gets cheaper and cheaper.

Replay the Garden Spire mission on Mars. At the end when Dinklage says "Lets do this", it is the most lifeless read of what should be foreshadowing of the final confrontation of the game. Its not all the time. Sometimes he sounds just fine, but its those weak lines at important moments that just kill it for some people.

The voice never bothered me. To be honest it really doesn't matter if they change it or not. After the first playthrough I'm not listening to anything the ghost says anyway.

They need a guy that can drop what he is doing if they need voice over work. That would be hard with Peter half way around the world filming Game of Thrones.
