I kind of wanted to at one point but realized it would never happen for a variety of reasons. Every day I see others using the best weapons in the game which I will NEVER get. Its quite annoying, especially in the crucible competing with the HMG in the primary slot (vex). And let's not forget that every nightfall I do (which is usually solo) is harder for me since I have no primary elemental damage weapons. Every aspect of the game I am constantly tormented and reminded about not completing raids. I admit I am not fortunate enough to do 200 raids a week, let alone once a lifetime, but something needs to be done about raid rewards. They should be obtainable outside of the raid. Doesn't mean it should be easy or quick... But players should at least have the ability to get them another way. I paid for that content... Yet I will never be able to use or enjoy it how the game is setup now.

Did VoG on Normal a few times, and multiple segments of normal and hard VoG, until I got tired of the glitchy-ness and stopped. Never bothered to do Crota except to grab the first chest in the last day before it was patched (yay NLB), even though I had the digital-guardian edition as a result. Probably will never bother with either.

1 ReplyI have not tried it yet because I don't feel that I have a good enough collection of weapons yet. Other than that, I am not sure where to begin with Raids. This probably isn't the type of activity I want to become involved with during the work week.

Thats no excuse. Ive been killed by vex. But ive also owned all of them with ny last word. U can buy any exotic from xur. Jus about srategy. Yea, it takes less hits with a vex. But its so fun nd makes u warm n fuzzy when u keep killing them with a melee or something quite simple.

Me. Although I solo'd the lamps yesterday on Crota for a laugh, but couldn't get get past the next bit on my own. Not something that bothers me enough to take the time to organise a team or be part of one. I get my kicks from doing Nightfall, Heroic, maybe a daily and the odd ROC. Been splitting my time with Destiny and Far Cry recently.

1 ReplyI haven't. Tried it once with my old clan, got turned off by the whole experience. Been playing solo since. After work and family, not much in the mood for socializing or sharing my Me time. Also don't like puzzle solving and jumping through hoops. Just want to shoot stuff.

I 've completed the vog once. The group was actually nice and informative which I appreciate. Definitely need to break out my shell and find other guardians to raid with.
