Well my fellow guardians, it's time. I have mained a titan since beta. I grew three of them from nothing and like to think I titan pretty hard.
Over the past several weeks RNG has decided it wants me to make a warlock. I have obsidian mind, sun breakers, voidfang vestments, and legendary chest, helm, gauntlets, and boots.
No more excuses.
After I run the nightfall and weekly with one of my Titans tomorrow, I will say farewell to him and create a warlock.
Any advice about playstyle, builds, or general warlock badassery would be appreciated.
And remember, we are all in this together.
Thank you kindly fellow guardians!

Don't do it coming from a guy with three warlocks come house of wolves you will have a better chance to get the armour fast and best way to do it is with three of the same class not hating on warlocks I have three

Sun singer for raids, strikes, and any PVE game mode. Use voidwalker for any crucible that you play.

Intellect
-
Intellect bad juju obsidian mind void walker blink that about covers it

Edited by SKELTON: 2/10/2015 3:58:42 AMtap A twice really fast to get get the best jump and press A again to drop down from a jump
-
Edited by Bench: 2/10/2015 4:23:35 AMSunsinger for all but control crucible. Theyre too spread apart to use nova bomb. Best class build is-firebolt grenade, radiant skin, viking funeral, and touch of flame. Also, voidwalker is more fun than sunsinger, since the only time youre really using your super is when you die.

Sun singer max and your golden

Delete the character and start a Titan.

Edited by THE COUNT DANTE: 2/10/2015 4:27:34 AMRoll titan. In all seriousness, learn and practice Blink. Not only is it way fun, also very useful. Only things I miss from Locks is Blink and Fire shield.

Abuse the extended melee range, standing toe to tie in a firefight is a bad idea, use your glide appropriately. If using blink strike understand your range and directionality. Discipline and grenades are your friends (axion bolt and fire bolt will see targets in immediate range). Pvp and PvE require different styles and set up. Voidwalker is a more offensively minded and sunsinger is more support/surprise (off-guard) don't self Rez in front of people in pvp!

Look at my warlock, as a warlock main
-
Obsidian mind and don't miss with your nova bombs.
-
Shotguns
-
bad juju, obsidion mind= nova bomb and repeat previous
-
Be a badass. That is all.
-
Don't use nova bombs in tight spaces.
-
Xur hates warlocks ALOT so don't depend on him.
-
Guns matter not in PvP just melee everyone . Happens to me all the time lol
-
Pick a sunsinger, and get ready to slam LB.

5 RepliesEdited by ELIJAHrocks: 2/10/2015 2:54:35 AMI enjoy all 3 but Warlock is my favorite just for fun. Once you master the jump its just really fluid. Remember to press jump again while in the air to end your glide. This is key in making glide fast and fluid. Warlocks have great recovery, and average armor and agility. Ensure to be mobile but you can take some damage if you find cover you will be back quicker than other classes. Great setups: Voidwalker: Obsidian Mind is the best exotic IMO I prefer splitting my nova bomb into 3 with tracking All the grenades are okay and really more your preference. Sunsinger: Best in PvE Use Fireborn radiance for Nightfalls and other high level content where it can save your team. Otherwise use Song of Flame when with a team or Radiant Skin when playing solo. Use solar grenades when you want to close areas off and hold an area. Use the fusion grenades on high level enemies (yellow bars) All the grenades are great. I prefer the Claws of Ahamkara as the double melee is awesome in PVP and most PvE, but I still don't have the Apothesis Veil which might be my favorite in the end. Those are the basics. There are some fun specific loadouts like Monte Carlo is great for warlocks as it refills your melee and warlocks have longer range melees that are very powerful. Just as with all characters look for armor that heals with orbs for Crota hard etc. Enjoy your new Warlock, soon it will be time for that Hunter too! You are missing out if you don't get to enjoy 1 of each. They all have great strengths in varied situations.
