What is the most overpowered thing you've ever encountered in a videogame?
My first thought goes to the scarab gun in halo 2's Metropolis level.
It was a pain to get and you could only use it for the last 10 or so enemies in the mission but man was it FUN!
[spoiler]I know there is a scarab skull in the anniversary but I'm sure it's the exact same.[/spoiler]

The initial encounter with Seath (or any other JRPG boss you're scripted to die when encountering). JRPGs have led me to this feeling of, [i]am I supposed to die?[/i], whenever I run into an unexpectedly powerful boss in an otherwise easy area. However, more often than not they just expected you to kill 385,249 goblins, to gain 4 levels before you fought it.
