Anyone buy armor for looks instead of stats?
I would rather look like a badass in combat instead of wearing gear just for stats. What do you guys think? I've meet other players who just want to get to 30 but dont wear what they like. Also they should make shaders for sparrows. EDIT They could invent some kind of vanity slot

No, it is all about the stats for me. Unfortunately they put the stats of what I like on another classes item when I am trying to get it for my main.

Yes sometimes, its why my Golden Gun Hunter will never wear that ugly, space-herpes infested Symbiote helmet.

I keep my gear that looks cool so I walk around in it on the tower. But when it comes time I put my big boy boots on ;)

I'm with you, my favorite titan helmet drops me down to a 27 instead of 29 but I look good with my stunner shades on!

Well my lvl 31 armor looks like crap. My lvl 30 warlock armor looks pretty cool though.

I go by looks then check the stats lol. I actually got my shader and my sparrow to match.

I definitely take looks into consideration, but I ultimately go with what gives me the best advantage.

this is why we should be able to lock our characters look.... now that the dlc is out there's variety everywhere.... soon... it'll be everyone running around in raid gear looking like a clone army

I do prefer asthetics, but i like the armor that i have that offers good stats
