They are more likely to have higher education, they have higher incomes overall, and represent the majority of the middle and rich classes. Democrats only represent the majority of poor people. Overall, [url=http://cfif.org/v/index.php/commentary/54-state-of-affairs/1357-pew-research-republicans-more-knowledgeable-than-democrats]they are far more educated than democrats.
How does this change your view on the typical 'dumb republican stereotype' the majority of you hold?

22 RepliesRepublicans represent a shrinking demographic in America, whereas the Democratic base is growing. Best part is, Republicans do not seem to care. If that line of thought continues unchanged, the party will die out. Here's another fun fact: a majority of college students today will vote Democrat. The Democrats appeal to them. Republicans are not even making the effort. They are more concerned with suppressing other religious beliefs in this country, building a wall to keep unwanted people out (by the way, ask China how well that worked out) and repealing Obama care.

1 ReplyLibertarian is the way to go, but if you want to have any actual influence in the elections, you've gotta vote either Republican or Democrat... and between those two less-than-palatable options, I choose Republican. They may be full of shit, but they're less so than the Democrats.

2 RepliesOdd, most Republicans I've met live in a trailer, have few teeth, and couldn't graduate high school.

24 RepliesA house divided cannot stand. I am a very strong republican, but if there is a better democratic president, I will vote for them. It is not as simple as "it doesnt matter who you vote for as long as it's republican". Be the bigger person. The problem is... this election's democrats consist of a socialist, a pathological lier, and a nobody named O'Malley. I prefer the morally strong neurosurgeon over any of those.

The thing wrong with politics in America today is that each side thinks the other hates America and wants to usher in its collapse. That's why we have retards and far left/right candidates getting traction. If we could see that gridlock is not the way forward and actually made the word compromise not be so damning to politicians we be better for it. But sadly we live in a world where shutting the govt down is celebrated and pushing bills that have no shot of passing is praised. Rubio 2016!

1 ReplyMost people aren't rich because they're republicans, people are republicans because they're rich. I come from a high middle class family that's way democratic

No shit. Someone who believes everyone only deserves what they get Vs Someone who believes everyone deserves to have the same One of these is more concerned with gaining "financial sustainability" The other is more concerned with being able to "enjoy life"
