Destinty DIES at midnight
With the master chief collection right around the corner.. I would assume a good chunk of the destiny gamers are going to abandon this game. Mostly on the Xbox systems of course but r.i.p destiny it was a sloppy run

Yes mcc is just a rerelease of old halo games in hd but halos multiplayer changed fps online forever. You can't deny it. The base content of cods online was taken from halo. The dedicated servers for optimum online gaming and a ranking system that is truly based on your skill. With halo 2 mostly but halo 3 also. The campaigns for halos 1-3 were some of the greatest campaigns. It was a much more simple time when BUNGIE could make games the way they wanted to

The only game I would ever get if it was 1080p and have voice actors what be Final Fantasy 7 but I can beat it in a week or two and then I'm off to a new game. You have spent the last 5 years playing halo and you going to spend a other 5 year doing the same thing for a 1080p ver lol. sneaky sneaky Microsoft

17 Repliesi for one will not be buying the mcc collection purely because i believe that the so called improvements in mcc arent worth the money. Old games recycled doesnt give me a new gaming experience. imo returning to recycled halo games would be a bigger disappointment than destiny.

This again....yes it well kill it on xbox one....theres still three other consoles I mean I got a giant nostalgia filled Bonner for tonight and I have no doubt at least 3/4 of users on the one well be gone.....wait till far cry and dragon age then I imagine it be pretty low populated other then kids haved to wait for christmas for new games : p

3 RepliesSupposedly Destiny died when Shadow of Mordor came out, Boarderlands Pre Sequel came out, and the new CoD came out... for some reason... I doubt it will die when the MCC comes out. On a different note, any word of an MCC + Xbox bundle?

It's good but doesn't have that casino level addictive qualities. If I keep playing destiny no matter how bad I do I might get an awesome drop. There is no incentive to keep playing halo mp when I'm frustrated. Buying MCC anyway just cause it's halo and why not.

15 RepliesDestiny won't die. But I sure as hell won't be playing it for a while. So many Destiny fanboys out there. All I have to say is have fun grinding the VoG, full of its lovely bugs, and the same 6 strikes for the next 4 weeks. hahah. that sounds like fun.....wait, no that sounds horrible actually. I'll be playing 3 of the greatest console first person shooters ever made. Oh, and I almost forgot to mention the amazing campaign/story that those 3 games have. Later Destiny.

I've been playing the Halo franchise since the original. Halo CE is actually what caused me to scrape money together to buy an Xbox in the first place. I'll definitely be stepping out of my Guardian's armor for Mjolnir for a little while, but I'll be playing Destiny too. Contrary to popular belief, you can, in fact, enjoy multiple game simultaneously. Just hoping that Bungie starts trying to fix its game's flaws soon like Titanfall did. I quit playing that game for a few months, and when I came back they had a ton of new content and are working to release wave mode soon. It's just selling your gaming experience short to quit a game forever when it's so young. Destiny will get better. It's just going to take time.
