How about make 1 of each class and transfer the gears accordingly. I got a full warlock legendary set when playing as the hunter. I got a full legendary titan set when playing as warlock. I might as well make 3 characters.
Leveling up a character to level 20 is quick. Then you just transfer your gear to that level 20 and instantly you are at level 26. ready to go for raids and more energies and shards. Take advantage of everything that Destiny gives you

Leveling is not quick. It would be fun if Destiny actually had a story. Bungie whiffed on that and effed it all up.

Leveling to level 20 is very quick. I will admit that the first 2-3 weeks of destiny are the biggest hurdle you have to overcome. After that, exotics, shards, and gear just rain for you.

Destiny story makes me feel like a mouse in an exercise ball. Go through the motions to get some cheese with very little stimulation along the way.

The Halo games are the only ones I've ever completed from start to finish, I even went back and did some of them on legendary (and I'm not that good). I've never really liked other modern games I've played. I expected a lot more from Bungie than this. Great mechanics as usual but it's turning out like other games that don't have an interesting enough story to make me want to invest in it.
