I just got denied doing Vault of Glass for being Mute.
I understand that communication is important...but I'm pretty sure My being a mute is not a reason to deny me a chance at it...
*EDIT* I am mute as in born without the capability of speaking, folks.

That is completely uncool. That's just people being jerks I guess. Its not like its your fault or anything, and I've played plenty of games with very successful teams in complete silence. I know everyones giving you their tags, but go ahead and add me if you feel like it. My friends online aren't the type to do something like that.

8 RepliesWell, there's plenty of people on here offering to do it with you, so i think your problems been solved, buddy! But in any case, you may want to try what I'm doing. I'm going to attempt to solo the vault of glass. I just solo'ed the level 22 weekly strike last week by myself, finished in about 35 minutes. It's fun challenging yourself to reach new levels of skill.

It's unfortunate that you have this handicap but you shouldn't expect others to lower their standards to accommodate you. There could be a crucial point during the encounter where you have information no one else does (such as where the adds have spawned or something) and you'd have no way to give them that message. Everyone here getting upset over this mess to realize that he was only denied because he couldn't do the task the raid group required because it involves communication. Rather is because a player is born mute our has no mic is irrelevant.
