Bungie's instructions weren't clear at all. It just said be on from 2 to 6. There was no message or any other form of verification if you recieved it. Don't be an ass because people come on the forums asking for help (which is what they are for) instead of combing through news. Help them out or ignore them. This shouldn't be bothering you.

They have been awfully vague, and their is no need for op to be an ass, but Bungie Twitter did confirm the rewards were given when the final game was released, and people should look these things up before posting 3000 threads asking the same thing.

Edited by Kettengrad: 7/27/2014 6:02:26 PMdouble post for some reason

Exactly...be on from 2-6PST. No ambiguity.
-
Bungie's instructions was very clear be on between 2-4 pm pst on and participate in any event to receive the award. The only thing they weren't clear on was if u would receive it in the beta or full release. As stated ppl don't read they hop on posting and buring and legit questions being asked
-
They never said that.
-
Yes they did.
-
There instructions weren't clear. They never said how to get the beta reward.
-
Weekly update said the 26th at 2 pm be on to receive your award. It will be given at launch. Learn to read.

Have you ever played a beta before this? Typicaly all rewards appere in the main game, the only acceptions are games where the beta becomes the main game such as bigpoint games and a few MMOs. Games with a gap between beta and release typicaly do not give the reward untill official release. Some (just like Destiny) tell you to be online at a certain time to be "counted" no motificatiin is given as just being there gives you the elegabikity for reward, again a standard of MMOs

So because people have never been in this exact situation they are mindless drones?
-
All the info they needed cluld be googled, this is the information age

All that stuff on google, including official updates from Bungie are on there because other people put them up to help people. That's no different than someone publicly asking, and another person responding. Bungie doesn't insult people for asking for help. They kindly answer your question, or direct you somewhere where it can be answered, without being rude about it.
All that stuff on google, including official updates from Bungie are on there because other people put them up
Erm, that is not how the internet works Please dont make me need to tell you all about metrics and meta data and SEO.. please dont

Way to change the topic. This isn't about how the internet works, its about not being an ass.
All that stuff on google
Hey, guess what, you brought up the net, NOT TO MENTION MY ENTIRE THREAD IS ABOUT USING THE NET
are on there because other people put them up
People do not manually put "things" on the internet. This is why you need instruction on the matter I woudl rather be an ass for saying "dude find out your self, it is listed all over the place" OR I can be an ass making 40 threads begging for info Gee i wonder which is better for all and sundry Count the info begging threads, go on, I can wait, then tell me how many interesting threads were knocked in to obscurity due to them
-
Just because i say net does not mean we need to explain all of the intricacies of the internet. And i dont need an instruction. Obviously people dont just put things up in the manner that you thought, for some reason, assumed that i meant. Obviously i'm referring to the tweets and facebook posts that bungie or whoever else may have made. And asking for help doesnt make people look like asses. If you think it does, that's your problem right there.

No, that is not what you ment at all, but 10 points to Ravenclaw for a spirited attempt to dig out
-
The best response you can come up with is that I'm lying about something that you couldn't possibly know whether i'm lying about or not, and a lame harry potter reference. -10 points to wherever you're from for spawning someone like you. And yea, it really was what i meant.
-
If you did not mean it why imply it. You said quite literialy, that peiple had put it on google. To me and those liking the comments that suggests you mean people actuialy PUT it in google, manuialy And what, pray, is wrong with HP
-
I really didn't imply it. I said google because you said they should just google it. I didn't think you would latch on to the most unimportant part of what i said and completely miss the point. And it doesn't matter what i implied,(even though i didn't)i'm telling you now what i meant. Believe it, or don't.

This is the internet, the qholebpoint is to hind the most benign point or bad phrase and perform weapons grade reductio ad absurdum on it
