I'm really looking forward to it.
For those of you that don't know much about this, here are some things that have been announced about Minecraft on the Xbox One:
-Coming August 2014
-Worlds are much larger
-If you own the 360 version, digital or disc, you can upgrade for only $5. This offer is good for a year after launch.
-You can transfer your old worlds from the 360 to the Xbox One (but not the other way around)
-There will be server support (possibly involving fees, I don't believe anything has been confirmed though)
-There will not be cross-gen play
-Launch version will be up to date with the most recent 360 update
Leave your opinions. If you didn't know about this before, I hope my thread was helpful.

Meh.. Minecraft is a bit too boring for me. I only like it a bit if I just want to make a house. I personally enjoy Terraria more since you have loads of different weird enemies and places to go. It's way more fun to explore. In Minecraft, everything is so.. plain. Especially the Nether. You think a portal leading to some new kind of world is exciting, but it's not. Atleast, for the Nether that is.

I'm not a PC elitist by any means, but Minecraft is so much better on my computer. I'll pass.
-
Eh. Never was too interested in Minecraft. If GwG features it, I might download it, but no guarantees that I'd play frequently.

1 ReplyEdited by Yuu: 7/19/2014 1:44:57 AMThe damn worlds have to be infinite already... Next gen is a joke if it doesn't do that.

3 RepliesI will never understand why people rather play Minecraft on consoles instead of the PC version.. It's obviously superior lol

1 Reply"possibly involving fees" Alright Mojang, go -blam!- yourselves. It's free on PC, why charge on consoles. I've already gotta buy you're game for the 4th time, I don't feel like paying for multiplayer.
-
I'll probably get it but won't play it much.and how do you transfer. Is it confirmed august or it's might be delayed again?
-
-
I don't foresee myself purchasing it. I already own it on PC, and don't want to spend money for an additional version of a game I already own.
-
The worlds are actually 36 times larger, so it's a nice upgrade for a fiver.
-
Let me buy the same game three times, hey -blam!- it lemme buy it for ps3 and ps4 as well.

I am, loved playing minecraft on 360. Add me if your looking to build together GT: o Science o
