"Limiting the size of ammunition clips would compel a gunman to pause to reload or switch weapons" Also forces them to make more accurate shots, and if they're at all prepared they could reload or swap weapons rapidly.

 • Y You're trying to make this a void point when the research clearly showed less people were killed on average in these incidents. Quite trying to push your bullshit when everything is indicating the contrary.

 • No, the research didn't show that at all, the only one spewing BS is yourself. Even IF that were true that's still no justification to infringe on responsible citizens and take away our ability to defend ourselves efficiently.

 • They could also reload or swap quickly if they did have bigger magazines, and less often, so that's not a valid point. As for aim, a slower shooter is an easier one to escape from.

 •
As for aim, a slower shooter is an easier one to escape from.
Lol what? A slower shooter, who is being slow to be highly accurate, will only need one shot, you cant outrun a bullet.

 • But if he's taking time to aim the shot, you have more time to run away in a way that would make aiming difficult, right? Serpentine or whatever.

 • Shooting wildly, 3 shots a second, taking time to aim a shot, 1 shot per second. I think you may have a misconstrued idea of what taking time to aim is. we arent talking about taking a 100+ yard shot on a moving target.

 • I suppose not, but the longer he takes, the more time everyone else has to react, either to get behind something, run, or try to flank then rush him.

 • .25-1 second difference, unless this is a school of trained soldiers, it isnt going to make a difference. Instead of putting a bandaid on the issue, which is attacking an inanimate object, and thinking creating restrictions on it will make a difference, which this article has clearly stated wont, we look at the actual issues that may be causing it. What those are, i have no clue unfortunately.
