The Necromancer, lets talk about him. Is he still a shadowy figure orrrrrr?

Yes, the Necromancer is shown as a living shadow throughout the film.
However, things change once Gandalf finds him. In an excellent scene, Gandalf's magic is overpowered by the Necromancer. Once Gandalf is defeated, the shadow forms Sauron's flaming figure, which turns into a silhouette of unholy darkness forming the pupil of the flaming Eye of Sauron.
• Awesome. Me being the spoiler addict that I am I gotta ask
What happens in Dol Guldur? I heard that everything doesn't look how it seems until Gandalf expels some illusion. Seen it in a review and the writer didn't go into much detail.
I also want to ask
Bolg, is he in it?

Gandalf's investigation of the Necromancer ends in Dol Guldur. He arrives with Radagast, but sends him away to request aid from Galadriel and the White Council. He goes in alone and uses Elvish incantations to remove a spell placed upon Dol Guldur to hide the orc legions within. Gandalf eventually comes across Azog and his orcs, and there is a short pursuit through the fortress. It ends with Gandalf coming face-to-face with the Necromancer himself, who reveals himself to be Sauron. After a short battle between Gandalf's light and Sauron's darkness, Gandalf is overpowered by his sorcery and is imprisoned in a cage overlooking the slopes of the hill, where he sees Sauron's legions marching for war.

Yes, Bolg has made it into the film, but with a new CGI design. He takes over the hunt for Thorin and Co. after Azog returns to Dol Guldur.
•
Nerdgasmic! I'm seeing it on Tuesday but I can't bloody wait till then

Yeah I knew the old bearded orc costume was disused as Bolg and that he became a full cgi orc like Azog, but does the old bearded design get used at all? Background orc?

I never saw anything resembling Bolg's older design. I know for a fact that it was shown in the first film's flashback to the Battle of Azanulbizar, but it seemed to end its run there.
•
Maybe it was a younger Bolg before he had a shave? :P, it's a shame though, the design was menacing and creepy.

I liked the fact that it was a live-action design, but to me the profuse hair and beard seemed a little much. And I doubt that the design's appearance at Azanulbizar is meant to be Bolg anymore. When it shows up, the orc is clearly killed by a young Dwalin (0:40).
