So, is Bungie ever going to fix private groups?

Since Bungie.next was implemented, one glaring flaw has remained unfixed: the decreased functionality of private groups. While the main forums grew increasingly inactive in the months before the update, private groups played a vital role in keeping old Bungie.net members active. Like many private chapter administrators, I expected that Bungie.next would offer new features to groups that would enhance their functionality. And like many of those administrators, I am now disappointed. Bungie.next took what was a flawed-but-functional system and stripped it of qualities that enabled groups to run smoothly. Dozens of private groups became entirely inactive because of this, while others are hovering on the brink due to inability to function under the new format. I am therefore calling on Bungie to implement three simple changes to help private groups run "better" (meaning at least as well as before the update). They are: 1. Allow for non-administrator moderators. 2. Allow administrators to lock threads without deleting them. and, most importantly 3. Allow us to ban users in-thread I am severely disappointed that these features - all of which were common-sense staples of the old group system - were removed without practical alternative. Private groups deserve better than this.

 • I agree on all of this, but to be quite frank, who the hell are you to "call upon Bungie"? I know that you have been around for awhile, but that doesnt make Bungie your ho to make booty calls on. My 2cents. Heck, bungie.old was great in my opinion, but this right here, is such low standard, I cant imagine Bungie, who has always produced wonderful product both quality wise and creativity wise, leaving it like this for so long. But, it has happened, and I hope bungie has some serious shit up their sleeves to mend their reputation so far as their site goes. Yeah, creating shit takes time, and if these new features have to be built up from the ground, I get that their is a certain process. But Shouldnt Bungie have a team dedicated to their online presence? They should have been all over it ever since bungie.new came out.
