Stasis is the only subclass that can only deal with a single type of Champion. While Stasis is definitely powerful, the lack of anti-Champion utility makes it hard to justify using it solo.

Also (just for the record) WHO said it was a good idea to remove stasis shatter stunning unstops. Its just unbelievably stupid

13 RepliesI second this motion! There was absolutely no reason for them to nerf Stasis just because of 1 weapon being a little too strong (or maybe it was 2 weapons, but same thing). Every subclass is supposed to be able to intrinsically deal with 2 champion types. That's how they've always been balanced since they were updated with intrinsic anti-champ capabilities.

Instead of pulling the player to the box on a penalty, Bungie changed how the game is played.... they did stasis dirty.

All I’m seeing is “I refuse to equip malfeasance for unstops or Tommy’s matchbook” and “chill clip suspectum or chill clip fire and forget or chill clip submersion, or any cold steel sword, or stasis abilities on stasis or prismatic” 😕. Don’t get me wrong though I respect the boundary to say “No, I don’t want to put this particular weapon on to deal with a particular mini bosses that’s only able to be stopped with this particular effect or else it steam rolls my team, that’s not reasonable or fair” because frankly, maybe you’re right and they could be more creative about mini boss implementation. Though, I do find it satisfying that I’ve become one of the best champion killers in endgame content of my clan, personally. It isn’t everybody’s pride and joy to slay those scumbags, but perhaps it shouldn’t have to be if difficult mini bosses had more variety. Is that what you’re getting on about at least?
