That’s probably the execs at most gaming studios/publishers these days. Sad. Bad. Unfortunately not surprising.

I have the words, but don't want to get banned for excessive language violations. My guess is that the execs feel there are too many people playing their game so they're trying to shed another 70%.

The key question for me… Is that Bungie or Sony driving the push for more cosmetic sales? It doesn’t surprise me that someone’s doing it, but I had hoped that Sony’s focus would be more on building back the quality of the game first. -
3 RepliesFWIW, TESO has switched to a subscription model this year, away from the traditional yearly expansion like Destiny. Absolutely not the direction I want it to go, but it’s definitely in the air in live service games.

2 RepliesA "full-blown subscription" service would be the coffin nail for me. I'm ride or die D2. True, it's a love, hate, but that's where I am. I buy all the expansion and more cosmetics than I'm proud to admit. If they do this, they lose me, and the people like me are the very last ones they want to lose.
