Great for new lights. Terrible for veterans, since we already have just about everything he could offer. So could Xur possibly start selling shiny weapon variants too. Not from Into the Light, those were exclusive to that, and they should remain that way. But maybe we can get some new shiny weapon variants for weapons that haven't been covered yet? There's a LONG list to choose from. To take it even one step further, rather than being in a "Brave" ornament, they're in a "Xur" or "Starhorse" style Ornament? They drop with random rolls so there's something to chase beyond just a 1 and done, and maybe every season he can get a new batch of 3-4 shiny weapon variants while retiring the old ones? That way every season will give the feel of something new and exciting and also make both veterans and new lights be able to participate in this and have something to look forward to every weekend. This would be great for making Xur feel exciting again, and also give a new limited-time cosmetic thing for veterans to chase (which Into the Light showed was very successful) without granting them any gameplay advantage over those that aren't able to acquire them since it's purely cosmetic. And I don't think asking for 3-4 weapons to cover an entire season would be very demanding of any team either.
