Typical secret boss BS. Always forcing players to find, guess who? Content creators to figure it out. And you guys say CCs didn't ruin Destiny.

Or you could pay attention to the game. after you clear a zone in overthrow you get a message that pops up telling you there is a servant of savathun (the only add around since the rest get killed for 3 minutes), then clear the next overthrow and kill the next servant, do this a third time than a huge glowing green light appears. Follow the light, beat the 2 bosses and bam. Don't blame youtubers just because you cannot understand something. We have had video game guides for decades to help people like you. Use them or don't. Just quit pretending they're a problem.

They make these secrets so that most players won't find it and have to look it up considering the modern attention span of players. I blame CCs. Legit, though, I thought it was 1 tier 3 overthrow per area.

Watched the videos and reviewed some web sites - feel it may be bugged for me- even ran it with some clan members who have ran the exotic quest times. Not sure why I can’t see the green light after the overthrows or I didn’t make it to the crystal room on time. Frustrating.

Something as big as the exotic class item is one of those secrets that was first, never very secret. Second, the attention span bit was assuming it was 3 in 1 area. That 4 minute wait is too damn long.

You can use fast travel. The only thing that can reset your progress is being disconnected or going back into orbit. While it's true that the class items themselves were not a secret, the way to unlock them was unknown. Fair enough for the attention span thing.
