Is there a reason why my Skimmer has vanished after the last update?

Hi, Perhaps I am missing some information but during the guardian games I managed to obtain a Skimmer. Now I must admit I didn't pay a lot of attention to how you got which rewards, I just jumped in and grabbed 'missions' from Eva and got medals etc. After a particularly good raid, on the day before the games ended I got a lot of 'completion' banners scurry up the screen which went by faster than I could register them. After that, and I think an exotic engram decode, I found the skimmer in my inventory. So I suppose my question is - Was it possible to obtain the Skimmer on a temporary basis, that is until the games ended? Or did I do what was needed to be awarded the Skimmer permanently, but for some reason it vanished during the end of games update? If there is no such thing as a temporary Skimmer, how do I go about getting it back again? Many thanks in advance for any help or suggestions. Adron

Hey there, was this the 'white' rarity version of 'Allstar Vector'? This was a quest item tied to the 'Drop In' quest - it was given at the same time as when you picked the quest up, and like the quest itself, it too had an expiry date of the end of Guardian Games. Completing the quest would have upgraded the skimmer to its complete form, in Exotic rarity, and this version is the permanent one. There was no engram to decode, the old version of the skimmer simply changed into the upgraded one. Completion of 'Drop In' required 1,200 points worth of medals, or a top 10% Nightfall score, or opening three focused playlist winner awards, so a raid, even the best raid ever, wouldn't have contributed anything to these except for a few silvers and maybe a Platinum medal from one of Eva's cards (less than 20 points total). It was not a quest that would be completed casually, it's something you'd need to work on.

The common (white rarity) Skimmer was temporary - you had to complete the Drop In quest to upgrade it to exotic to keep it permanently.
