25 matches with 24 losses. The sweats can keep trials.

Look at the weapons your using and your build. What do you expect?
-
Iam stock with 2 wins for entire weekend...correction, since the reset on Friday..

Between the cheaters and the No Lifers farming the rest of us I think Trials is becoming next to pointless. Bungie only keeps it around so the content creators won't complain as much.

Edited by Monkey: 3/19/2024 6:39:49 AMOne thing ive noticed is that Bungie has no clue how to fix MM in this game. I don't think l have ever played a more one-sided game than this one lol. For e.g seeing 3 awesome solos on the same team game after game is not the way Then again that map for this week's trials sucks big time. From the MSG metahhh to now the 450/600 AR metah..crazy times in MM

I saw someone else post something similar to this on another post. If you load into trials without trying to make yourself competetive with your, builds, weapons, armor stats, and playstyle, you can’t expect things to go your way. You are using an auto rifle with osteo, what kind of a PvP loadout is that??? The good players are going to use meta against you, why handicap yourself further by not trying to put on the proper gear?

Edited by NerdslayerNo1: 3/18/2024 7:09:11 AMI'm a pvp main who has never liked trials. I used to be a decent player but i've always felt that catering to the competitive player/esport gamer was a bad move. Before people wanted to be esports legends, make a living off of twitch we just played like shooters to play. it was ok to not be good. You just had fun. There was no real prestige in being good. I just wanted to like get a chopper. Now it's all sweats and the games are made for sweats but i think it drives out the average player. And on top of that, at the moment pvp for me feels like i'm getting one shot by ridiculous stuff, from ridiculous distances, and when behind pillars. I played a game a while ago and it just felt like no matter where i went this same dude would pop out and dome me. Regardless a hurdle for this game has been that i don't really dig the pve aspect much meaning i don't have fall back to keep me playing at times.

Edited by Josev_Spaceface: 3/18/2024 1:13:44 AMCheating has peaked since Bungie recently fired most of their security staff, and Trials is definitely the place cheaters are going to be rewarded the best for their time. Personally I’ve found just about every other mode to be pretty solid these days, but my Trials K/D vs my K/D elsewhere is abysmal due to how bad the cheating is. The matches against just very good teams are one thing, but these are something completely different. XIM-y Insta-kills and lag to the extreme that always favors your opponents is usually a sign of something else being in play, and those matches are generally much different than the ones that play out where you actually have an opportunity to fire your weapon before an entire team is on top of you/optimally TTKing your face.

Yeah I dropped D2 for like 2 months because of PvP and how bad it was. Came back for God only knows what reason, and it's... worse? A decade into the game and we still can't curb cheating and piss poor match making? Yeah think I'm setting Destiny down again because there PvP is about the worst it's ever been and PvE is stale.
-
Counterargument: Destiny 2 PvP is the worst PvP experience I have ever had, period.
-
Edited by Deez Knucs: 3/18/2024 5:51:23 AMThis worst part is there is no way to fix it. Anything they do will just piss off some group. Right now all the youtubers are praising bungie so its just going to get worst from here out. And as normal all these so call leaks are coming out about the april update aka bungie leaking only clips so sucker people back in. Might be time we all just leave for good and play something else

The sweats can keep trials.….definitely…..not fun man…no fun.
-
I thought folks were exaggerating. This is the worst I have ever seen Trials. Normally I can get a win about every three matches with a lot of them being close. I just played four or five matches and none of them were close. No enemies on radar. One-shotted with hand cannons. Adept weapons on the first match. Destiny deserves it's fate. Clearly matches are weighted towards sweats. Bungie you can keep your silly pvp - when the next round of layoffs go down you'll know why.
-
Can't argue with that mate, it's utter shite.

"working as intended"

Edited by nonchalantone: 3/19/2024 8:47:43 AMSame here man..I finally grinded it out and got the adept Summoner. But it was dog crap. I lost so many times at 5-6 wins it was miserable. But the passage of Persistence actually worked for me. I was surprised.
-
The match making sucks for sure. Huge portion of my wins were easy. Huge portion of my losses were us just getting steam rolled. Only a handful were evenly matched. I took a break from PvP . For a whole year I played only pve content. But the new trials revamp made me think about getting back into PvP. Nope definitely didn’t bring a spark back at all xD

Edited by Elongated Muskrat: 3/18/2024 1:20:19 AMSame experience last night. We did about 12 runs and won 1. The rest were all 0-5 or 1-5 blowouts. We didn't even have a chance. Also, trials is infested with cheaters. Every second team has some hunter with perfect accuracy with rose or some smg amd I'm dead before i can even target them.
-
anyone who thinks you are whining should take a look at you match history. In the first 10 games there are definitely some winnable games and the matchmaking isnt that bad. After that it gets ridiculous. There are a lot of games with zero chance of winning with 3 top tier players going against 3 low level players. How does the matchmaking do this? It has to be deliberate. Not once when a good player is in any of your games does it split them from the other good players. We are talking about a dozen or so games here. No wonder all the good players come in here saying get good, because this is how matchmaking treats them, always putting them with the other good players. Broken.

I gave the persistance card a go yesrterday. Got up to three wins but it was easy win, lose heavily, easy win, lose heavily. Couple of 4-5 games but I would say it really seems to want me to sweat blood to get the wins required.... I'm not sure it's worth it.... Why did they hammer snipers but not shotguns. Shotguns are 95% of the special weapons (I'm seeing)
-
That means my experience is not that bad... I only had 10 losses in a row today... -blam!- piece of -blam!-
-
Hey man have you heard a game called Helldivers 2? Try it out, it's really fun and the devs actually care about the game.
-
I don’t get these posts. I literally suck -blam!- in pvp, but I still managed to get seven wins on a flawed card yesterday so I could farm ranks for engrams. I couldn’t care less about the lighthouse, I just want the engrams so I can get the rolls I want.
-
Perhaps don't suck
-
It's almost like...Trials should've never been brought back...and they should've worked on a better overall competitive Crucible experience.
-
Ouch 😬
-
Holy cow. I've never even heard of someone with a 4% win rate... Even if you have the worst aim ever, you can do better than that just by using decent tactics....
