So I created a few LFGs for getting the catalyst for the Navigator with the hopes they know as well what to do and what do you know, people join, and completely IGNORE getting the catalyst as, after the first encounter, they run straight ahead and not stop to get the catalyst steps, so are people so dense to not be able to read that the lfg is to get the catalyst?

If they can’t read your post is 💀
-
No. I love fireteam finder, but when I request mics people join without mics. It is what it is.
-
I am 100% positive that anyone that is not in the top 10% failed kindergarten.
-
I always get people without mics when I say mic or kick. They get kicked lol
-
You expect people to read, I expect people to know how to make public events heroic. Both have disappointing results.
-
Meanwhile, the Eliksni that joined your lfg is clicking to themselves in confusion about why they were kicked.
-
No, they don't know how to read. I run GMs every week with a minimum requirement of Level 8 in Fireteam Finder. There are many Level 6 players that respond to my Application Required post, and a nearly similar quantity of Level 7 players. This is partly Bungie's fault due to poor design. When I specify Level 8 as the minimum, I should not receive notifications from Level 6 and 7 players.

I am sorry I can not read your post. I am illiterate and possibly blind. I apologize that I can not sympathize with your grief. If you are questioning how I am getting this message to you, it's via voice to text as I also do not know how to write or read what I would have written. Also, I should mention it's not my voice for the voice to text. It is a friend of mine. I give them a series of blinks, and they are able to decipher what it is that I mean. Best Regards, Your LFG Team Mates

Bungie caters to lobotomites, so you get lobotomites. Multiplayer games in a nutshell.

Every time i put up a KWTD post for a raid, when we get to the first encounter and I ask who will do the mechanics with me, no one says anything. This has how it’s been on LFG since destiny 1.
-
The last time I used LFG, Leviathan was still a thing. Seen a post that said have 5 need 1 know what to do. I joined the group and they were waiting in the Gaunlet. Started the run and about a minute in I realized not one person in that group had a clue what was going on. Of course we wiped and the guy that made the post asked if I could explain the encounter for everyone. That's the day I decided not to do that ever again.

Edited by BussyConnoisseur: 3/18/2024 10:12:41 PMDid a lfg giving out a Ron final boss cp some people either came in expecting a carry or just didn't read the title at all.
-
You expect the idiots that play the game to be able to read? I bet most of them can't even dress themselves
-
It’s destiny ofc no one knows how to read
-
I did an LFG specifying to do emote finishers on yellow bars(for GG NF top 10%.) The blueberry me and my friend picked up just cooked everything. Wasn't even surprised.
-
No. Reading is no longer part of general education. We let you drool on a desk for 36 weeks and then give you a paper and make sure not to leave you behind.
-
Wait… I’m supposed to read the lfg post?? 😜
-
Wait till Sony takes over Destiny 2 due to real changes coming after Final Shape.
-
Correct. People do not actually read these posts. They just join. I can't tell you how many times I request specific class or subclass or experience or even guardian rank.. and get everything but. People don't care about what you want and hope to ride your coat tails on alot of these type of missions. Just gotta keep searching.
-
in my experience it doesn't matter what tags I include in an lfg, no one cares. I could speculate but maybe it is selfishness and apathy.
-
It's even worse when it's the person who made the post. Once, I joined a Navigator Catalyst run, nothing seemed wrong at first. Finished first encounter and Ghost pile location just fine, then we were off. Then we got to the second statue and everyone but me kept running ahead, including the person who made the post and needed the Catalyst. I texted them in-game to stop because they ran past the statue. But they kept going and even started the next encounter.
-
Thats like in Fireteam Finder when you try to GM and you put experience requested and then you end up being the only one with experience, it shows. Fireteam Finder is otherwise great for things like no mic dungeon runs. Some people just want to hop in for a free ride, those people are scary

If I’m being completely honest, I have found reading online posts to be a bit difficult recently. Poor grammar, spelling, incomplete sentences, etc…

Edited by Obi-Juan: 3/18/2024 1:53:50 PMPeople don't read the title they're only interested in getting in an activity asap so they click the first one that pops up. I've asked for english only, i've asked for guardian ranks, i've asked for mics, i've asked for champion mods and people have joined countless times without meeting the requirement. "You guys speak English?" the reply = "little bit" like bro the trolling that goes on in LFG is wild.

I'm sure it's because of the lazy, sub IQ standard drivel that seems to have taken over social media in the last few years. I wouldn't even say it's a young persons thing. You can watch any content on any platform by any streamer about any topic, and they cannot get through a sentence without saying the word "like" ten times unnecessarily. Either that, or insist on using acronyms just to sound a little bit intelligent. So in answer to the OP, no, I don't think they can.
