The way I feel about it is that if you play a lot of comp, it kind of evens itself out. Sometimes you lose points due to griefing on your team, sometimes you gain points because it’s a player on the other team doing it.
It’s interesting that almost no one on here ever complains about being gifted easy wins.
Having said that, I can’t believe there’s no way to automatically detect and punish someone repeatedly jumping off the map. I don’t think it should be a permanent ban though — start off with a time out and increase the punishment each time it happens.

I don’t get free wins. Either my team does good and we win, or my teammates are afk or leave the match entirely. I’m not thankful for easy wins because I never encounter them. As for the other comment. I should lose because I was outplayed not because my teammates decided not to play That is a fundamental flaw. You shouldn’t lose rank because your teammates didn’t play the game, regardless of why they chose not to. The moment you lose a teammate and it becomes a 2v3 you should not lose rank anymore as soon as you are handicapped in the game. Pretty simple to implement. Either you don’t lose rank or it kicks the whole match to orbit and nobody receives rank or loses rank. That’s the only fair way to fix that

Not your last comp win, but the one before it: an opposition player had 1 kill and 10 deaths. No idea if they were griefing or not, but that was an easy win for you. Everybody gets easy wins from time to time. I don’t disagree with the general idea you’re putting forward, but I don’t worry about it so much because I think it roughly evens out over time.

It has gradually gotten worse. Especially at lower ranks. When you get to platinum and above it doesn’t happen so much You still get afk teammates but it’s rare to have someone intentionally killing themselves at higher levels bc your rank is so high
