Bungie made changes to emblem ownership, see below. This could be why you no longer have certain emblems.
With Season 21’s launch, emblem ownership was updated. For security purposes, players who have emblems that do not appear in their Collections will no longer be able to equip these emblems, and players will no longer be able to see these emblems if they are still equipped.
Those affected by this change will need to reacquire these emblems through proper means by unlocking them in their http://Bungie.net profiles or their platform if they wish to continue using them.Players who have emblems unlocked in their Collections are unaffected.

Edited by Sharkie ♥: 8/26/2023 3:57:41 PMYeah those are the changes i referred to in the title, which is why im confused because im the one who bought the emblem, im the one who added it to my account, it was in my collections but no longer is. So why was it wrongfully removed?

Hello there, Do the codes show as redeemed in your code history? https://www.bungie.net/7/en/Codes/History
So why was it wrongfully removed?
Do the emblems show up in your history found here -> https://www.bungie.net/7/en/Codes/History If they don't show up there then you're not logged into the account that redeemed those emblem codes. Your redeemed code history will never be erased. It really is because you're logged into the wrong account. -
No they dont all my history has been erased, i have the order number and the physical pride badge.

Hello there, Unfortunately, codes are permanently bound to the profile they were redeemed on. Seeing your profile is relatively new (May 12, 2023) the codes were most likely redeemed on another profile which was abandoned at some point. Regrettably, there is nothing that can be done at this time as the codes are bound to that profile.

So the content i bought with money was removed because i changed my linked accounts? If so i cannot even begin to hide my hatred for bungie for this horrid system

This change was made because players were sharing accounts to get emblems they do not own which is a violation of Bungie's services. If players weren't doing that, Bungie would not have made this change. Bungie are only protecting their property, from harm. Nothing wrong with that. It's the fault of certain individuals in the community that Bungie made this change. You can blame them. In the future, please be sure to ask before doing something to avoid stress and disappointment. -
No offence Swat im sure you are a great person, i just really dont like some choices bungie makes, like i understand the change i really do there will always be those small percentage who ruin things. However what i dont understand is why is there not customer service that can see i bought the pin from the store, they can see my order number, they can see me holding the pin as well as my in game screenshots. And yet nothing can be done to help.

The other user already gave you a correct explanation. - Emblems redeemed by code are attached to the account they are redeemed on. This is the same policy that a lot of other companies use where you can't take an offer/reward from one account and apply it to another account no matter what. - Once you have redeemed that code it is now attached to the account forever. - They cannot be moved between accounts no matter what. This is to avoid system abuse. All of this is explained in the policies you agreed to when you first launched Destiny 2 and created your Bungie account. - You can see your history here https://www.bungie.net/7/en/Codes/History - Any emblems not in that list do not belong to the account you're logged into. Bungie has never cleared that history page. - The Bungie Store and Bungie.net are totally separate. Bungie does not run the Bungie Store, it is run by a third party. If you have any issues with the Bungie Store, you should contact them at https://bungiestore.com/customer-service/. Support for the Bungie Store is not available through Bungie.net.

There is nothing wrong with the setup that Bungie has been using to store emblem codes. It has been the same setup for about 10 years. In the future, make sure to ask before doing anything you're unsure of. This will save you a lot of stress and disappointment. You can make a post at any time, there are always people willing to help here.
why is there not customer service
The help forum you're in right now is the correct place for Destiny 2 support. You can also view numerous support articles at http://help.bungie.net. There is no way to contact Bungie directly. -
I realise im in the wrong ig im just annoyed and venting

Totally understand. I felt the same way when I lost something a few years back. Any other issues, just ask. :-) -
Sorry for random reply just wanted to say i contacted bungie support and they managed to recover my old account so i have all my emblems again :)
-
It wasn't removed, it is still there, on the profile you left behind. If you still have a linked account to that profile you could move your accounts back to it (this involves deactivating cross save)
-
I no longer had access to that account which is why i created a new one to begin with...
-
In that case, there is nothing that can be done to regain access to those items as they were bound to that profile upon redemption.
-
Well thats good to know now. Not angry at you btw but thanks for giving me my final reason to abandon this poor excuse of a game.
