I like infinite primary ammo.
It’s smart seeing primary exotics are powerful.
I never ran out of primary ammo regardless and it’s one less thing for them to maintain.
It’s like leveling.
It shouldn’t be what we spend our time running around doing.
IMO it’s fine the way it is.

Primary Exotics are too powerful as they are, one way to balance them would be to make them consume ammo again And yeah, you probably never really ran out, but it was a mechanic that made it feel more like an FPS, I think with proper adjustment it can be an interesting mechanic again like it was in D1

The reason they promote primary use is things like double special load outs. This was thought out and works. They’re never going to revert it seeing how much is invested into promoting it. They’re going even further with HC buffs coming.

Maybe, but double special shouldn't be a thing period, it's so ridiculous Granted, the more they buff primaries the bigger the need for bringing back their ammo will be, as a way to balance them out

Infinite ammo coupled with exotic armor that strengthens them is a big part of the game at this point. Osteo/Grips is only one example of many. I have that up on my Warlock suspend build. If I had to chase ammo I’d use a special like Witherhoard.
