Mods should be more easily accessible.
Mods are not required for endgame content.
I could do any GM with the fourth slot in my armor essentially empty and not even notice. Most end game players could, and sometimes do, because they’re irritating to change.

Well, that's three slots filled so they're more or less needed if not required for endgame

Needed and required mean the same thing. You can run something with zero mods if you want. Totally doable.

Thank you for agreeing the system needs to change, and I also appreciate your perspective! I think that side of the story adds even more significance to make the change... If some players have enough skill the mods don't matter for endgame. So releasing them more frequently will make end game content easier and more accessible to more of the playerbase. I think also there's something there... while it would take more dev time, it could be cool if there was an incentive to NOT use mods in GM's for additional loot or something. That way really highly skilled players can still feel accomplished and rewarded, but the content is available to all. I dunno, just spit balling. In any case, thank you for your comment!
