Not being able to progress for the first 8 days during this event really made it grindey. Where is our compensation?
Honestly I wanted Chronicler but seeing that I only have 4 days to collect 20k more candies and one nightfall only gives 350 I really doubt I will. Sh*t like this only promotes burn out just saying

Not counting the extra candy you get from enemy drops. Should take you bout 7-8 hrs max if you have the time. It’s doable, tiring but doable. Hope this helps.
