Peer to peer connection can work wonders, provided they know what they're doing. Warframe uses peer to peer and works absolutely fine by separating players based on region and ping limits

It causes games to crash, players to lag out, etc. In theory peer to peer sounds great, but it relies on the connection between players, which can be very problematic if the players live on opposite sides of the world, or if one player is playing off McDonalds wifi

Works wonderfully when I'm playing Warframe. No lag when playing solo, able to set who's being the host and smoother connection provided the host has good PC and internet which can be set by inviting other players so you become the host

Yeah sure, but warframe is SIGNIFICANTLY smaller in size, as well as it’s player base. With the size of a game like D2, you absolutely need dedicated servers
-
Significantly smaller and see what's in it. We have spaceship, skateboard, giant mech and insane weapons that aren't limited to exotics. Size isn't something you want to use to compare when destiny is pretty empty for a 90 GB and Warframe has 50 million registered players on one game alone, how many players are there in destiny?

Ain’t no way you’re trying to say Warframe is bigger and more active than D2😂

Smaller in size doesn't mean it's smaller. Look at how they try to reduce their game size from 40 GB to 25 GB from this update https://forums.warframe.com/topic/1223735-the-great-ensmallening/ You have at least 10 unique maps, 3 open worlds, 500 weapons that aren't recolor and rename of another weapon, missions that aren't "go to the end of the level and defeat the boss", Things I said before from spaceship to giant mechs and thematic warframes (armor sets) with their own abilities and super. That's one big package for a small size. Now take a look at destiny and see what do you have in that big file size if not recycled D1 assets and things taken away, even those you paid More active is debatable, but for sure you're not shoved with grind every three months just to make you play because you have 31 DLC worth of content for free in Warframe
