Please buff Eternal Warrior, Bungie. An entire Arc rework done and you didn't touch the helmet ONCE!

An entire Arc rework and Eternal Warrior [b]stayed untouched!!![/b] In my eyes that is logical heresy. How can you make an arc rework but don't rework the least used arc exotic that has the worst utility from all? Eternal warrior is already a "switch in for benefit, then switch out" exotic in PvP but serves no purpose in PvE. You should make it an exotic worth to wear all the time. So, add following 2 things additionally to the already existent Overshield perk: * (Outside of super, for regular wearing) - All melee kills grant a small amount of grenade, melee and class ability energy (basically a better version of wellspring triggered by melee) * (Inside of super) - Kills with Fists of Havoc return a small amount of Super energy (basically the perk you took from bottom tree striker away) Make this helmet more useful in general! Give us good, shader-able ornaments for it! Let us have fun with that helmet for plunders sake!

    The solution is actually quite simple. Simply change Eternal Warrior so that it does the following. - Whilst Amplified the bearer gains 15% damage resistance and Arc ability kills whilst Amplified restore a portion of class ability energy. - Casting your Super grants Resolute which stops incoming precision damage and makes the bearer Amplified. This plays into the defensive ethos of the exotic whilst adding a useful passive ability. This damage resistance would stack with Juggernaut of course to make the user even harder to kill, but it is still utterly reliant on being Amplified. Ability kills would allow players to regain the use of Barricade or Thruster a lot sooner. What is more is that it can be used with either super, though it lends itself better to Fist of Havoc. Regardless, as long as the player remains Amplified they continue to get the benefit of the exotic.

    • The outside of super perk doesn’t fit the exotic, but I absolutely think it should give the old Trample perk to extend the duration, in addition to its overshield. It makes perfect sense, becoming an ETERNAL warrior.

      • They only touched 2 warlock exotics. Remember when in season of the lost we got a load of exotic reworks and they said they would do that again to other unused exotics... When bungie?

        • Yea not gonna lie I thought that all the arc exotics, at least the ones that need a rework bad would be getting some love. Vesper of radius falls into the utterly laughable with eternal warrior Vesper if you don’t know (most people don’t as it hasn’t been seen in EVER) emits a small shockwave from a warlock rift. Barely enough to kill dregs🙄

            • And they won't. Its not a hunter exotic. Only hunters are allowed exotics without massive flaws, catches, and inconvenient downsides.

              • Eternal warrior needs to be a fragment so if you swap you lose your super. Same with raiju’s and others. Not really cool that there are super exotics you can just have on “standby” Either that or swapping any exotic armor resets super cooldown

                • Any exotic that wasnt getting used regularly or use situationally needs a rework. It is stupid that most exotics are stuck in D2 Vanilla status.

                • Ya know, I think this is a reasonable place to say that super-only exotics shouldn’t exist. All exotics should provide some value to neutral as well as their super component, otherwise it’s just a paperweight to players who can’t be bothered to swap to it when it’s time to super. Plus, it’s just awkward to have to go in and change gear when it’s time to super. If more modes barred players from swapping equipment, it might be okay… Otherwise, being able to equip two exotics, a neutral and a super, would be ideal… but also maybe overwhelming to balance for lol. But anyways, seriously, eternal warrior could use a buff! Bungie has done a lot so far, let’s encourage more! Think of interesting ideas, get their creative juices flowing!

                • Yeah I was thinking it was kind of useless now myself. Like not technically useless, but the amount of power you’d receive by choosing other exotics is so much more than from eternal warrior that there’s no point in it existing in its current state. Idk how they should buff it but I agree it could use one among many others across all classes.
