With the introduction of the rotating weekly raid Bungie added in the ability to farm weapons and this extends to raid exotics. Even with the ABILITY to farm a raid exotic people still decide to go on the fourms and complain they haven’t gotten it in X clears. Its RNG, and you can GRIND THE BOSS. I feel like this goes to show how entitled most players are in the game and how most players feel like they deserve something just because they did something.
Im prepared to get hate on by players saying their clear count or how they still dont have Vex, running a Atheon check point takes less than 10 minutes you can run it 6 in a team in less than a hour. Just move on and understand this is practically the same as asking for the drop chance to be better, PvE mains usually grind for days to get a god roll but getting a static roll exotic from a farmable checkpoint is to much

6 RepliesMy issue isn’t with that. My issue is that only the final boss drops a pinnacle reward. To me, the whole point in introducing the system was to incentivize people to engage with the old content, yet most people just want to do boss CP, and understandably so. I think a good change that could serve as a temporary bandaid to the pinnacle RNG system would be to have every encounter be a pinnacle. Even if it’s just a +1 drop it would be a better system.

Edited by DragonKnight901: 7/18/2022 8:35:02 PMHonestly when I was younger and I wanted a toy it was either we can’t afford it and then I cried and my mum says I do not (……I know my spelling…… i forget sometimes) deserve it because Im throwing a tantrum and I didn’t get my own way or if I behave then maybe… looking back it was definitely because we needed the money for more important things XD.

5 RepliesThe average player does not have the means to grind raid checkpoints all day. Grindable checkpoints are not a reason to forgive intentionally awful RNG systems.

1 ReplyWow after all this time at least one other person has figured it out. It’s kinda like solo cue playlists. Many in the destiny community just like complaining. Regardless of what’s done to appease their complaints they will find something new to latch onto. It’s hilarious to watch play out but after a while it becomes sad to witness. It’s bungie fault for entertaining the demands of spoiled children. The probably won’t run out of cookies ever but treading water doesn’t get you to shore.
