We need dedicated servers!
How come all kinds of other games like apex or Valront have dedicated servers but not destiny think about the new players that are being destroyed by skilled players and then probably they will never touch pvp again plz fix crucible Bungie it would make pvp harder and easier

LoL DS and D2 are NEVER GOING TO HAPPEN. Bungie has said this repeatedly. P2P is literally built into the foundation of the game. So they’re not taking it offline to rebuild a game that over half way through its life cycle. D2 will never be balanced. D2 will never be competitive. Play it for what it IS Not what you THINK it should be.

7 RepliesNo. Dedicated servers are not the magical fix you think. I play games with dedicated servers and guess what I see players lagging all the time. Dedicated servers help but they can only compensate so far. And new players getting their butt's kicked has nothing to do with servers. We were all noobs at some point but we learned as they will learn.... unless they go into Trials and expect a easy win in a hard core pvp mode. Bungie has set the matchmaking system as to half skill and half connection based due to the simple fact that US THE COMMUNITY can not decide which one we want. Every time Bungie changes between skill and connection based matchmaking WE kick off about it and want it set the other way.

Will never happen ! Bungie would need to rebuild from the ground up , would cost them a fortune just isn’t going happen . It’s the most broken game out there but we still keep coming back 🤷🏼♂️

Simple. Apex and Valorant are built with dedicated servers in mind and better technology. Destiny 2 is built on ancient technology held together by spit and tape and was designed with peer 2 peer in mind. So I get the dedicated servers request..........but they'd need to rebuild the game for that. Oh yeah.......Lupo asked Luke about it and his answer was a solid no.

So what I have heard from all of u I agree with what u said Bungie will never give us dedicated servers and pvp is doomed it’s just like what SirDimetrious said Bungie is very bad with there weapon nerfs so R.I.P pvp

This game will never see dedicated servers. So people should really stop wasting their time asking. Pve is all they care about. Pvp makes them no money. Why would they waste there time and money on dedicated severs. Besides if we get severs, Bungie will have to maintain them…..😂😂😂😂😂. Imagine that…

Literally everyone complaining about error codes also wrongly place their end connectivity issues to Destiny servers when it's an ISP router issue

cross p[lay made an even bigger joke of this issue. i hate having to play against cross console when you cant hit them bullets vanish they teleport its a joke a really bad joke and we are paying for this joke of a service

They are milking a skinny, old, and dying cow!😂😂😂 They’re gonna milk it until they let go of the carcass!😂😂😂 Half of the game is free and is not making money! Now they are chopping up the game and selling it by the parts!😂😂😂 Desperation is evident by milking a skinny cow until nothing is left but a carcass!😂😂😂 This game is so empty it will probably not see dedicated servers until it dies! 😂😂😂

Players are imbalanced network, platform and controller wise. I’m just trying to match people that have regular controllers, console and don’t pay out the wazzou for internet. Match pay to wins with pay to wins

Bungie is the bike rider that shoves a stick through their front spokes, and then can't figure out why less than 3% of their own claimed population are daily players in their free game.
