Legendry lost sector's on legend have too low a drop rate
I'm not asking the drop rate to be 100% every time I just think it would be fairer to be a 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 chance

For some Legendary I used about 5+ minutes, for Master around 10+ minutes (all bosses and mobs killed). In a couple of them I had like 0 deaths. In the past it has been more like 1 in 4 drop rate for me. This is the first time ever drop rate has been this bad. So for me at least, it seems to have changed, or perhaps I am just currently jinxed ;) For now, I will take a little break from those sectors and perhaps try again 2morrow ;)

Last couple seasons they've been dropping first try for me, and i play on legend. I would say try completing them within 10 minutes with platinum score, kill all champions etc. Works for me.

Today, I did the lost sector to get the Titan Loreley helmet. I did it once on Legend and then 3 on Master. I got one exotic on my first master completion and the Loreley on the 3rd master completion. I'm thinking that there's no other way to do it but on Master difficulty. They're not that difficult. I thought they would be, but I was surprised that it was easier than I expected. Good luck buddy. I hope RNGesus graces you with a lot more luck!

14 RepliesThey take minutes. Some take a few minutes extra but if you're taking longer than ten to do any legend lost sector, well, you have bigger issues.

Nah just make sure you have unlocked the latest piece of armor from the current season/expansion… If i do 10 lost sectors, don’t die and fast i get like 5 out 10 ones a drop on average… I too was grinding for arms on my Warlock and couldn’t get one drop after 15 runs! I still needed the legs from this season, and after i got that i got a lot drops the day after i grinded for the arms…

1 ReplySo many wack -blam!- players in here defending this system lmao. The in game explanation of the drop rate is: [i]exotic: uncommon (IF SOLO)[/i] that's it. No indication about champion kills, or speed, or number of deaths effecting the drop rates. Any details we do have are from random people just doing their own research, which is helpful, but it's not anything like an actual breakdown of how the drop rates work. Not to mention that the non exotic rewards are awful. Some glimmer, planetary materials, and maybe and enhancement core. What is that?? I barely touch them unless I need to for a new exotic.

With also allowing focusing at the end to choose what exotic you get that is not one you have yet to unlock. That way I’d farm one eyed mask till I get higher stats on one that is better than the one I have now.

It's no better on Master. You're actually better off grinding Legend; at least you're more likely to get [i]something[/i] than nothing. Imagine spending close to 20 minutes on a lost sector, only to get fúck all after completion.

5 RepliesWhat about master? I find it aggravating that I have to waste 7-12 mins every LS where the champs will bug out and find out towards the end that the only reward I get is enhancement cores, shards or glimmer.

1 ReplyLegend drop rate is 25% Master is 30-32% With bad luck it can take 30 or 50 runs to not get anything. My record is 37 runs with no drop. Then again, you can have 11 runs and every run drops exotic (has happened to me). Excavation site takes 2-3 minutes (if you are not way underlevel) to run and even the worst lost sectors (moon ones) take under 10 minutes, so it is very generous way to farm exotics in comparison to what we used to have.

4 RepliesI've been running today's Legend, Excavation Site 12 as a few better chest pieces over all my characters would not go amiss and it's a simple 2 to 3 min run. What I noticed was that using a ghost to focus the stat drop does not always work on the exotic and I believe this should not happen. I'm running a Discipline Armourer and managed to get an Ophidia Spathe to drop, 66 points total but WTH only 2 in discipline!!! BS. Switched to my Warlock and dropped a Starfire Protocol with 17 in discipline and resilience so it can work, but it seems not always.

I don’t know what it is but tbh I don’t have issues. Maybe I’m lucky with rng. But Last time i farmed I only needed 5 runs to get this seasons and last seasons warlock legs The only one that took forever was cuirass for titan when it released
