It's beautiful, I'll be proudly wearing it for sure! And thanks for the list of legitimate charities, I've been trying to figure out which ones are best. International Committee of The Red Cross has popped up in more than one recommendation, so I think that's one I'll support.

2 RepliesThe times they are a changing. Back in the day you played video games to escape from the real world, tune out reality, & immerse yourself in fantasy. I still play for these reasons. Gaming companies didn’t really say anything back then about anything that wasn’t directly relevant to the game and the players. Nowadays I see more and more companies, not just gaming companies, openly discuss their beliefs, values, and core identity. I don’t think what Bungie is doing by offering aid to various charities or showing support for a country in war is wrong. I downloaded the emblem. It looks cool. I will however refrain from posturing on what is right and what is wrong on this video game forum and will kindly speak my opinion only with regards to this game and how it impacts my experience and the experiences of others playing it. But that’s just me.

1 ReplyIf bungie is gonna support Ukraine then from this point on they have to support every single conflict and whoevers the supposed good guy in it. Thats the stance they took here. They also have to support all recognized holidays including Veterans Day. (If you do the research you’ll realize that the Ukraine situation is more complicated than what is reported. There is no “good guy” in it because everyone had a hand in the events leading up to the invasion including NATO themselves. Don’t believe me look at the events from 2014 to now)

32 RepliesInteresting to note that people wanted a veterans emblem to remember those who fought against the fash, but now a lot of those same people are getting bent out of shape over an emblem in support of people currently fighting against the fash.

It’s so beautiful I’m getting it tattooed ever my heart because Ukraine is the greatest country ever! War is bad, but Ukraine isn’t great either. Glorifying a country because it is under attack makes zero sense. I pity the poor innocent civilians getting killed, but Glory to Ukraine is just so naïve. Hope this war ends soon.

5 RepliesA cosmetic in a friggin video game will sure help those Ukrainians. I'm sure that they sleep better at night knowing that some video game company is giving people a digital cosmetic and saying that it's in support of them. Bet that stops the artillery from hitting their houses.
