The rotation is Strikes, Crucible, Strikes, Crucible, Gambit and then it restarts. So there have been three Gambit daily focuses during the event so far
Gambit was the daily focus on the following days:
April 24th
April 29th
May 4th
Presumably the daily focus will continue through reset on the 10th so Gambit should be the focus tomorrow on May 9th.

They're a volunteer on the bungie forums, they're not paid by bungie and have no more influence on how this game is made than you or I have. Your complaints are better served towards practically anyone else.
