Stop. This idea has been made and passed around so much since destiny 1 it will never happen.
I’m guessing this is some sort of actual mmo rpg game mechanic of some sort that allows you to what upgrade or enhance weapons in some way shape or form.
That’s the thing. Destiny is not a mmo.
World of Warcraft is an mmo. Destiny isn’t.

Transmog is cosmetic strictly. Just making things look like different things. It’s coming next season, as per Bungie’s own words.

Transmog is purely cosmetic dude - this idea is purely cosmetic. I'm in no way suggesting you get the armour piece, only the ornament of the armour piece.

Bungie already implemented that except they did a shit job doing so. Ornaments is what they call them. But still stop asking cause it’s already been done to your specifications it’s just not a very good job because bungie is more focused on the pvp shit show over anything else for the game.

Dude I think you need to take a step back and look up what transmog actually is... This is a change that IS coming to the game - I'm merely suggesting a modification to said change which will improve the experience for legacy players
