Hey whats up guys! This is my first post on the forums but I want to share my opinion, I love destiny it is by far one of the best games that I have played. But I do understand some of the critical thoughts that people may have. With the arrival of season 14 it would seem like there is a shift in bungie where they are bringing back D1 elements, and weapons, etc into the game. While some may see this a a negative, I see this as a massive improvement to the game! There is a ton of content in D1, So many crucible maps, so many locations, so many guns, SO much amazing content that they have the potential to add. I would hold no resentment if they decided to add a majority of the content from D1 into D2. (And Don't quote me on this) I feel like It would be relatively easy for this content to be added into the game with having most of the work done for them. Now I believe bungie is doing this, but I have not heard anything about legacy maps or new maps In a long time correct me if im wrong but we haven't any new crucible maps in destiny since shadow keep. And Both were reskins, With the addition of Venus I believe there is a great opportunity to add back some of the original maps from D1, If Bungie is going to bring back D1 They better do it right! I would also like to add that how have we not gotten any new Europa maps? There is so many things that bungie could do with it!, I was thinking Make a map that has a inside and a outside, The Inside is just a basic map (Possible 3 lane close quarters and one long range lane, In a fallen city or Exo lab.) The Outside would be a large open area with cover and long site lines BUT! It would be during a Europa storm! So that visibility would be low, But making Hakke weapons king! I Feel like there is a lot of untapped potential that can be done. I wish bungie the best of luck with this game! I have fallen in love with this franchise I have been here since Taken king, I have practiced to become good at this game, I have slayed raid bosses, I have grinded for exotics. I have a total cumulative hour count of 6000 hours between D1 and D2, And Unfortunately I won't be here to play Lightfall (Im not going to die, Ill be gone for a long time), But I will be keeping in touch with this community for as long as I can! I love how it seems that there is a lot more community involvement now and I can't wait for the future! Have a good day!
